Stretch Predictions

1) Clayton Kershaw will not be the most valuable fantasy starting pitcher this year.
2) Clayton Kershaw will not be the most valuable fantasy starting pitcher this year for the Dudgers.
3) This will be the last year Miggy Cabrera will be in consideration for a 1st/2nd round pick.
4) Giancarlo Stanton will get 550 AB this year and lead the majors in home runs while hitting better than .280. He will, however, not change his name back to "Mike".
5) The Braves will trade someone (ok, not a stretch). Nick Markakis will not hit 20 HR (nope...still not there). Jim Johnson will not be the Braves closer in July (this is getting silly). Ender Inciarte will steal 40 bases this year (now you are talking).
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

geez- I can't wait for the braves to be done trading. it is getting so old reading things like "braves interested in Quintana" geez really- are they the only ones? and better yet- "braves interested in Quintana and every other teams best pitchers- but they won't trade any of there top prospects" geez
