Boog Powell was called up yesterday and made his major league debut last night, but did not get a plate appearance. He was announced as a pinch hitter, but was replaced after Cleveland made a pitching change. Still, it officially counts as a game played:

The NFBC rule is "a player must have played at least 1 MLB game to be added to the pool." Thus, NFBC team owners are able to add Boog tonight, despite zero career major league plate appearances.
Not very often that this happens.
