That's a shame

In one of my DCs (which started out like gangbusters) I now have 15 players on the DL. Just wondering if this is a record, and I'm looking for sympathy. Thanks in advance ...

probably- and if you have freeman - you have my sympathy. i think i have 9 in the main- which is hard to do- but i drafted one and picked up finnegan- so i am a glutton for punishment.

I was really enjoying my start with my nfbc teams and in the last 4 days I've lost pollock and Freeman in my ME. Really does sting.

Of course Freeman goes down right as Donaldson is ready to return. JFC.

15 guys on the DL is impressive. My least healthy team has ten disabled.

Not a record, I recall having 17 on one team in the past.

But it's early, you still have time to get there ... :)

I learned about Freeman reading this post! I have him in two other leagues, but not this one.

I have a Main Event team with 30 players on the DL currently. Well, probably a slight exaggeration, but sure feels like it.

I got off to a great start. Not only in the standings but we all know within a few weeks if our team checks the boxes or needs work immediately. These 2 teams both checked all the boxes. Good offensive balance, good/great starting pitching and one team had 4 closers the other had 3.

Then Marte gets clipped for PED's and it all unravels. Cespedes, Syndegaard, Paxton, Kennedy, Familia, and countless other little things (like a red hot Pillar getting suspended for saying one of the words outlawed by the PC police). Ugh, the pain of fantasy sports!

This could just be a factor of the new 10 day vs 15 day dl.
I would think teams would be more apt to take advantage of the shorter time loss and the ability to replace the roster spot.

Of course....50% is a lot!
