Chicago/Tampa Auction Update
Hey everyone, we have been exhausting our attempts to try and get one auction league for Tampa and Chicago and now here is what we are going to try and do. The attempt for a $650 NL League wasn't successful so we are going to try and do a $650 Mixed Auction League which will be a phone auction between Chicago and Tampa. If you are interested please let me know ASAP. We want to have this finalized by tomorrow if we can and absolutely no later than Friday. So e-mail ([email protected]) or call me (715 445-4612 ext. 653) with confirmation or any questions you may have. You can also confirm in this thread by providing your name. We'll also take new signups so if you're in Chicago or Tampa and want to take part we'd love to have you. You can register online or by contacting me or Greg.
The Auction will start at 4 p.m. ET and 3 p.m. CT
I'll keep a running total below with the people who are in for the phone auction and whether they are in Chicago or Tampa. Let's see if we can get to 15 by tomorrow and close this league out.
1. John Pausma (CHICAGO)
2. Karl Mische (CHICAGO)
3. Ira Alper (CHICAGO)
4. Frank Heron (TAMPA)
5. Jonathan Ugent (CHICAGO)
6. Josh Schwartz (TAMPA)
7. Zac Staples (TAMPA)
8. Brian Edgar (TAMPA)
9. Philip Smith (CHICAGO)
10. Mark Wigent (CHICAGO)
11. Karl Dunlop (CHICAGO)
12. Billy Stubbs (CHICAGO)
13. Dave Clum (TAMPA)
14. Philip McDonald (CHICAGO)
15. Sam Thornton (CHICAGO)

Tom,
If I am correct in that this is for a $650 mixed auction league in Chicago on March 16 (phoned with Tampa), I guess I could drive down there that day. So, go ahead and sign me up for that last spot!
Thanks,
--- Mike K. (mgk2004)

OK, this league is full. Thanks everyone. We'll make this a fun time in both cities next week. So the auction will begin at 3 p.m. in Chicago and 4 p.m. in Tampa. You'll be all getting an e-mail confirmation as well but plan on attending if you are one of those 15 guys on the list.
And Mike, thanks for the offer. Please check your e-mail for my reply, ok?

An amazing turnaround my friends. Great job. Wow. With 10 owners in Chicago and five in Tampa, this should be okay. Everyone make sure you throw players out at a fair price to avoid so much obvious back-and-forth bidding and we can do this one in a reasonable time frame. Should be good competition.

If you need an auctioneer in Tampa, I could be available.
