Sammy Sosa went 2-for-3 and launched a three-run homer off Livan Hernandez in the Rangers' 9-8 win over the Diamondbacks on Wednesday.

Sosa seemed to have no chance to get back to his glory days, but given a starting job in TEXAS would make him a sure 25 hr guy with the upside of 30+. AND YOU CAN CURRENTLY GET THIS GUY AFTER THE 20TH ROUND!!!!!!! SLEEPER ALERT

I would imagine his sub-.200 average would put anyone to sleep.

S.Sosa has hit .300+, 4 times in his career. Playing in TEXAS does help.

25 homeruns, 90 rbi, and a .280 batting average could be achieved. that is one of the best values in the draft considering you can get him so late in the draft.

I shouldn't admit to this, but I actually drafted him in the Mag II League (29th round I think.)

Hopefully GG will be right.

Ha, I picked him up as a reserve in the Auction draft. Why not take a 29th round flier? But, as Ia also thought he was a huge sleeper when he went to Baltimore, I know the pain that Sammy can inflict on your BA and lineup

Anyone know what position S.Sosa is eligible for? OF or DH

He played mostly OF in his last yr, so he must OF-eligible. Everyone doubted him when he was young too, he just might prove himself again.
