Getting ready for a army holiday party with my unit tomorrow. Getting a Army dress uniform is the most TEDIOUS, DULL, SAD, couple of hours of a man’s Life, you will see hardened soldiers weeping over their uniforms. Don’t get me wrong! Love my country super patriotic....But I really just wanna wear sweatpants and an Iron Man Shirt.
That was the random life moment intro. Matthew Berry does it in his NFL love/hate articles and I hate them. So now you have to suffer too.
If you still reading this I had a thought. Has there ever been a State acknowledged as the home of fantasy baseball champions? I know you guys are from all over, even Montana (thought only Horses resided there....Maybe they have NFBC accounts Tom let’s anybody in). I don’t know all the history of the NFBC but I thought such a thing would be awesome to identify and catalog.
1. A league of hall of famers representing their respective states. Guys a newbie like me only hears about in whispers and fairy tales Jupinka etc etc.
2. Take the list of main event participants, identify their respective states, and come up with an overall placement percentage for every state with a minimum ?? Number of owners. An added bonus would be losing owners may be 0.01% more likely to stay competitive if they gotta represent their state IE Joe Blow from Nevada wants to finish in 11th place ahead of Jane Doe from Ohio to help his State’s Overall score. An additional benefit would probably be closer owner-owner relationships. I’m originally from Louisiana (fantasy baseball purgatory) but live in California so I would definitely be rooting for team California in all Main Event Leagues.
Anyways thought it would be a harmless yet cool idea. I would be willing to work the numbers if given the information, and there are certainly owners even more active than I am......DOUGHBOYS in my first draft is a vampire he doesn’t sleep, he exist only to watch your draft picks and drink the blood of innocent maidens
