Two things....

1. Has Palmeiro convinced even himself that fans want to see him in public, let alone on a baseball field?

2. It does prove that even with the wisdom of more years, Palmeiro still blows smoke up people's asses.

Odd that he would consider coming back when he’d almost certainly be kept to less than 40 HR in the current environment.
