You have a good offense until I realized you sacrificed SP to get it. Your team finishes in the middle of the pack...and definately ahead of Spy's team

Dreams - I was in your draft too. I agree you have some pitching problems, but some of those problems may do better than advertised. Best of luck to you.

GG - I had pick 10. Started with Ortiz. What did I do wrong here? I know BA and saves may be left short of desired goals, but with luck I can get some saves from FA. Go ahead, laugh and poke holes:

c: Martin, Olivo

1: Delgado, Broussard

2: Kaz Matsui

3: Glaus, Encarnation

SS: Hanley Ramirez, Greene, Wilson

OF: Damon, Cameron, Edmonds, Pods, G.Anderson, Luke Scott, Gathright

DH: David Ortiz

SP: Halladay, Hamels, Schilling, Arroyo, Clemens (you never know), Blanton, Westbrook, Prior (again, you never know).

RP: Saito, Mike Gonzalez, Farnsworth, Julio

Obviously, several of these will be on the bench. I listed all the players I drafted so you could see how deep or shallow the team is.

Q -

G. Laird, A. Gordon, K. Johnson, Iwamura, Quentin, Hart, and Braun have only done it in the minors or in Japan - so I definitely see your point there.

GG -

I somehow forgot Capuano! He's my #2 SP. Still, SP definitely is my weakest position - in your experience how much can a decent bullpen make up for some of that weakness? Or is that pretty much a pipe dream?

Can Pelfrey beat out Chan Ho Park and Aaron Sele for a rotation spot in the pitcher's haven also known as Shea? And with Billingsley coming out of the pen in all his appearances this spring, can Kuo claim a rotation spot in LA? If one of these is a "yes", could an SP staff of Bonderman, Capuano, Maddux, Hudson, Bonser, Suppan, and Pelfrey/Kuo, with a solid bullpen and enough offense finish in the money?

Or does it sound to you like this NFBC rookie is gonna have to learn the hard way?

Pete, like your starters, ALOT. You can use another closer but that can be found on the wire during the year. The big problem I think you have in the OF, a big problem. You have two solid OF'ers. After that you have 3 OF'ers with exellent chance of getting injured, 1 that will be fighting to keep his job and one that has no spot.

Pete, like I wrote on the other thread, I like your team - especially the pitching. I worry about KazMat and the outfield but those weaknesses won't be team killers.

Good luck, should be a great league. I'm pumped. Anyone else looking strong to you?
