STATS - could you total up the numbers on the live scoring for us?

Would be nice to glance at it and see 4 runs, 1 hr, 7 rbi, 1 sb and .310 BA, etc.

Thanks

Also could we see a live scoring League totals page. So we could see which teams are having big nights on one page. WCOFB had this last year and it was a quick and easy way to see everyones totals.

I've been less than in impressed with stats inc and their baseball service thus far. The news is rather stale and not exactly comprehensive. Not easy naviagation at all. Is there anywhere I can just see yesterday's stats??? Seems like it just gets group into the periods stats, which kind of stinks.

I set up a complete shadow league in yahoo for my league. I'm even updating rosters on Sunday night and Monday morning to reflect FA acquisitions and teams moves. Only snag to date is that yahoo doesn't have all the players yet. They still haven't added Langford (active in my NFBC league) league. Most others they are missing are on the bench.

I have to agree that the stats have not been impressive so far. Haven't those guys heard of "totals"? How about some totals at the bottom of our daily stats in addition to the previously requested totals for live scoring?

NFBC is all competing with other teams but these stats do very little to show what the teams we are competing with are doing. No "yesterday" stats and no place that I have found to see what is coming up for the rest of the current week as far as games to play to starting pitchers notations. I know we can only change our line-up once a week but give me a break, this is pretty weak at best.

I'm willing to give STATS some time on this as what they have up now is way better than what Sportingnews has for the WCOFB currently. However they have a ways to go to equal what TQstats offered the WCOFB last year.

This is the premier event for fantasy baseball and will continue to grow. I'm sure STATS will want this to be their showcase as well.

I also agree that STATS thus far has been well below par. I use TQ Stats for my other leagues as well and what I am used to having access to each day can not be found anywhere here. Plus, inaccurate stats? C'mon. Do we have to start checking every day to make sure our numbers are gonna be correct. We're not playing for t-shirts here.

I also noticed yesterday that the overall standings had "0's" across the board for everybody if you checked YTD...

Yeah STATS has been less than stellar. TQ Stats and All Star Stats are putting them to shame right now. They need to get their act together or they're going to get a vote of no confidence. I can't believe with the money that's on the line here that they haven't gotten it together yet.

Can we PLEASE see something that displays yesterday's stats??? If I don't catch the live scoring before I go to bed I have no way of knowing...Having played CBS and Allstar stats...the user experience on Stats Inc stinks

Yesterday's stats were added last night as a version of the Team Stats page under Reports. We're working on customizing the visible stats to the league scoring parameters and adding team totals to the bottom of those pages.

How about viewing other teams (in other leagues) active rosters for not only the current week, but other weeks as well?

Thanks..

On that same page can you display Earned Runs, maybe instead of holds?

Also a totals for the day would be great...

We use TQstats in my local league and they do a great job. They post yesterdays stats and a cumulative stat sheet. I thinks Stats has a ways to go to be competitive.

On the overall standings, it would be nice to see the league that the team comes from next to the team name.

Ok, some of the stuff is getting better, still need TOTALS on YTD though.

More importantly, my stats on my YTD page are WRONG! I have A-Rod listed as 4-25 YTD, he is actually 3-16 (Still crappy but hey). I think his Week 0 stats were added twice (1-9). If he was 8-9 in Japan maybe I wouldn't mind but...

This is an important thread and as you can tell Jim and the guys at STATS are looking at your suggestions and making changes. They've made a couple already this week, so keep the constructive criticism coming and if it's feasible they will tweak the system. They want to make this perfect as well, so thoughtful posts will lead to improvements rather than just slams against the service. I'm comfortable with other services too, but that doesn't mean we can't have some of those same features added here shortly.

If there are continued problems with stats like the one mentioned with A-Rod here, please note them. We can't afford to have inaccurate totals and hopefully that has already been corrected.

you're exactly right on the A-Rod issue, i've corrected the stat gathering for that. this wasn't affecting the standings pages, i think we're on track there.

I feel like this is something elementary that we shouldn't have to point out to Stats, but I'm seeing it in NYC #3 league so I'll raise the issue:

There should be NO ties in ratio categories. Ratios should be computed out to a sufficient decimal position to break any tie. In NYC #3 today, there are two separate ties in the BA category, with 1/2 points being awarded to the tied teams.

Now, it's possible that the ties are legit, that each team has the same number of AB and H so far this season. But it seems highly unlikely that there would be two such ties in one league on the same day. (And since there is no place to see total AB and H for a team, I can't confirm myself.)

I believe I speak for everyone that is obsessed with stats when I ask for the following:

Can you please sum all the totals on the cumulative stats for our teams and others? All other services I have used provide this. It is important to know what a 16-32 day does to a team’s ave, hard to calculate if we cannot see total AB’s and hits. Total IP’s, ER’s, H’s and BB’s are also critical for pitchers. I want to know right away what Russ Ortiz and his next 2 1/3 IP outing does to my team.

Thanks.

Might be too much to ask but I would like to be able to click on a tab and see live scoring totals of any league as well as year to date totals for any league.

Not to dump on STATS, but having coughed up some dough we shouldn't have to be their UAT. This stuff we are all asking for should be inherent in any League Manager service.

Gentlemen; On the "standard" YTD stats you need to include all the players on our roster not just the active players. Thanks.

Here are some of the things I think we should be able to have on our stats site:

1-Should be able to see what league and city each team is from on the overall standings.

2-Should be able to see and print your individual leagues's starting roster for every team on one page, for both NFBC and auction leagues.

3-Should have an available FAAB drop down link to see what each team has left in FAAB in your league. I think I read this was going to be done, so maybe I'm just missing it but I couldn't find it.

4-Should be able to see how many hits your pitcher has let up on both the stats page and the live stats page.

I'm sure I'm missing one or two things but these are things that are pretty standard on most stat websites. Thanks for you attention to this.
