SOLD OUT: Main Event Online Wednesday, 8 pm ET

Okay, earlier today we officially SOLD OUT the 2018 NFBC Main Event with 480 teams. We couldn't be happier as we matched last year's record total in record time. Good luck everyone in the hunt for the $125,000 grand prize.

Unfortunately, we feel like we may have sold this out too quickly this year. We don't have any Supers left right now. No Ultimates. No Diamonds. No Platinums. Heck, not any $1300 Auction Championship spots. Everything is sold out at the higher dollar levels.

With that in mind, we thought we'd open one more Main Event Online at a new date and time so that it doesn't coincide with some of the nights where we already have 4 and 5 and 6 drafts at once. It's getting to be too tough to fully moderate all of those big dollar leagues next week when we also have Ultimates and Supers Online.

So here's what we're going to do:

We are opening one more league on Wednesday, March 28th at 8 pm ET. This is a Main Event Online and there's no guarantee that it's going to fill. If it does, we'll definitely give some love back to the overall prize pool. If it doesn't fill 5 days out from Wednesday, we will all agree to keep it open until it either sells out or we just cancel it. Plan accordingly if you sign up. We won't charge anyone until the league fills, so no concern there. Please set your KDS preferences after you sign up and look for draft spots on Friday night, or if later, then 15 minutes after the league fills.

Again, no guarantees with this one, but we know there is still a lot of interest in baseball and in the NFBC. I have a list of owners who couldn't do the Tuesday Online draft, but who still wanted to get in. We had to sell out the Tuesday Main Event Online first before doing anything else. Now those owners will have a second chance at a spot.

I know we said SOLD OUT, but let's try for one more league and gauge the interest. If it's there, we'll fill it and set a new record with 495. If not, no harm no foul. We just know that with Opening Day 8 days away and the interest in baseball really picking up, we'd hate to have no high-dollar offerings for current and new players. So here we go.

I'm not going to lie. We did not expect the demand for one more league to be this high. If we fill this league today, we are going to keep Registration open for this date and mix 30 names together if it sells out before KDS runs on Friday at 8 pm ET. If we stay at 15, then this is the league. But this has blown us away and we are happy. To top 500 teams for the first time would be amazing, but let's get to 495 first.

SOLD OUT: We are now officially at 495 teams and 33 leagues for the 2018 NFBC Main Event. This last league sold out in less than 24 hours, which is pretty amazing. Again, we will keep Registration open for the next day or two and see if there's even more interest. It's possible that we'll mix two leagues together, but let's see what happens first.

We are ECSTATIC about the turnout this year. Great job everyone. Season-long fantasy baseball is here to stay!!
