I assume first faab is a week from this Sunday?
Also, will faab deadline be 9pm cst like last year?

Never assume. The first FAAB for any league completed before the deadline is this Sunday at 10 pm ET. Good luck all.

I’ve heard Alex Cobb will be optioned to the minors to get prepared to join the Orioles rotation.
This means he’s available in today’s FAAB but if not called up before next Sunday he won’t be biddable in leagues where he’s a free agent.
Is that correct?

I saw Kyle Tucker get taken so I'm not sure what is going on for the first FAAB. I'm sure Greg will let us know...

This was posted by Greg on another thread if it helps.

This is no different than what we've always done. MLB 25-man rosters aren't finalized until after Opening Day, so all players are available for this first FAAB, no different than first FAAB we ran under STATS. By next Sunday all 25-man rosters will be finalized and anyone who hasn't played in the majors and wasn't drafted in your league will be excluded from free agency.

I was hating the fact of having to do faab on Sunday night while still on vacation and still drafting.I told my wife I needed 2 hours to do faab. Went to the room at 8 only to find out I was still in Las Vegas. Ughhhhh.
