FAAB Delays

Post by Fourslot40 » Sun Apr 01, 2018 1:26 pm

Greg... FYI... On Google Chrome utilizing Verizon 5G... the bid process is painfully long today. It's taking 15-20 seconds per player to load up a bid.

I have alerted IT. I'm noticing the same thing.

I can't even load the FAAB pages at all. Never-mind 15-20 seconds

same here. with having multiple FAAB teams and limited time to get my bids set up, this is frustrating as hell

certainly can't have the NFBC platform giving a subset of owners an advantage

Well I lost my advantage of drafting Marwin Gonzalez when can’t switch him around lineup to get other guys in so we are now on a level playing field with FAAB! 8-)

While encouraged by the effort and some nice new additions the IT part of this contest/company is still extremely poor. So many of these things should have been remedied in the offseason. It is a shame because literally everything else about this experience is top notch.

When i try to copy a bidding thread I'm getting this error now:

Error
A conditional bid cannot be more than a higher bid in the same list.

I've sent a similar example to IT. If you can shoot a screen shot with those bids and email to me I'll send another example. Thanks and sorry about this.

We are working on the slowness of the data base now. I'll update when I know more.

When I change a bid, I need to trust it isn't going to change. I keep switching multiple players to $1 instead of $4, but it keeps switching the $1 back to $4. The system also reports an error of a player having a higher bid the player higher than it, but it is the same or lower.

Can't get in on Google Chrome or Firefox on any of my devices. I'm sorry, but this is a major problem for the legitimacy of waivers today. A lot of people have Easter commitments and people planned on using this time for FAAB.

We are working on the site now. If we have to extend FAAB tonight we will. We've lost a good hour and more already, so stay tuned. We'll make sure everyone has access and time to make their FAAB bids this week. I hope to have an update shortly.

This is where experience comes in handy! Always get bidding done on sat night week 1. Just excited to take advantage of this! It makes me feel better about having drafted guys for multiposition that got lessened when website won’t allow that for a long time. I can personally live with no live scoring if it scores me great FAAB BIDS tonight!!!

Yes I did my bidding last night. This is saving me from making some dumb change tonight lol. Also it is keeping me from checking live scoring to see how awful my teams are doing today. Especially pitchers!!!! Gunna be a long year dealing with the pitching crap shoot

You pretty much punted starting pitching so you need to find as many landmines as you can each week.

Firefox appears to work best at this point. But the Website is not loading on any Browser or loads only sometimes. Appears the site is down or overwhelmed. Noticed it slowing down a few hours ago. We need to be able to do FAAB like the old way, this new FAAB system is horrible.

Hard on the eyes, colors and fonts (who picked these colors?) are Terrible; Formatting and layout is terrible too... we cant sort, the drag and drop (reorder) does not work in various versions of chrome I tired (only in Firefox)... I feel bad for folks with a lot of teams navigating this new FAAB.

The features we had in the old FAA should have all been available.
