I solicit several opinions on my team- Stevieland, Doughboys, bjoak, gekko, Childs, Edwards Kings, Dave Clum, slacker brothers, KOQ to name a few most like it a lot and a few added valid points for concern.



The difference between them and you- I will go real slow they have had success in this event you have not. Plus I will go even slower for you- For example Gekko had a nice suggestion on how to improve via FAAB- it was done privately so not every member of my league has access to it.



Soon enough you can find my team and post it if you like- just post at the end that I have beaten you every year in this contest and will again this year. The Amazing Chest!

I guess you are ashamed of your team! Sorry to hear that....You can run but you can not hide,,,I will send emails to you via public since you like that,,,,2 years does not make a track record.

1st of all winning is strategy knowledge ,experience and luck. Even a sorry person like you can win if you have luck.

I still have not seen your name with Rastelli, Odenski and Didonato and will bet that I dont!

The people you have mentioned are all honorable,,,please do not put your name in the same paragraph Thankyou! and I did not say I did not like you, I dont know you,,I just dont like the fact that you tell a rookie to go with only 1 catcher,,,when you know he is losing stats for the other catcher spot..I can say that whether I came in 1st or 375Th.

Read what I wrote- his strategy is one that a lot of people in this event who are good use so he is not in left field with it. I specifically told him I have not used it.



It is ok to be a little slow you obviously are, but you can always reread the posts.

I see this thread grew exponentially while I was in a 10 minute meeting.



I would like to verify Chest's statements. I do not post my teams on these boards. That is for people who need validation, encouragement, or support and I require none of these things. If I have a team that sucks I may look for support and advice at the end of the year, but there is not much point in getting that kind of feeback now. Like Chest, I show my team to a select few to just get some initial feedback from them, mostly for fun at that point.



If others want to post my team, fine--I just do not feel any need to do so.



In any event, I don't need my team to do well in adp's, I don't need to hear how my team comes up by Shandler's stats, and I don't need any eyeballing analysis. All I need is for my team to perform well when the bell rings, and at that point the whole world can see what my team is actually doing in the real 2007 season. I can wait. So can you.

Well said and bjoak and I compare teams and players constantly. The two points I would add is I only want feedback from folks who I know took some time to look at it and crunch some numbers. Spyhunter is the only guy I know on these boards me included who when he gives feedback he has crunched a number or two. Second- while there are many valuable and resourceful opinions on these boards you can only have so much feedback before it contradicts and confuses. I have my inner nfbc circle of friends and I listen to them.

I suggest Greg or Tom delete this thread...it serves absolutely no purpose except to showcase arrogance and ignorance.

Look, I know these message boards tend to be, er, a little more serious than I'm used to, but NFBC is the National Fantasy Baseball Championship; while you were working your way up to it, one would like to think you might have attained even most limited profficiency with and tolerence of trash-talking. Sheesh. Just me or is it getting a little stuffy in here?

I just liked a bunch of guys who are good to get 10 or 20 steals and didn't feel I needed it in bulk early the way I did with power. I'll pm you.

I am in LV1 if you really want to look for my draft. i saw your adp quip and tied it to howard. i can't access other leagues draft results so i can't see your team otherwise i woulda looked
