Yandy Diaz - Position Eligibility

Shouldn't Yandy Diaz start the season with just DH eligibility? He is listed at 3B on the Eligibility list. He had 14-16 games at DH depending on how you count the games on 8/23 and 8/28. He had just 9 games at 1B and 3B last season. The rule I am referencing is pasted below for convenience.

I haven't been in a draft yet so I am unsure if he is listed differently in the draft room.

b) If a player did not appear in 20 games at any position, he qualifies at the one position he played most frequently the prior season in the majors. Designated Hitter is considered a position for these purposes (pinch-hitting is not). A player who only qualifies as a DH may only be assigned to the UT position. If a player's most games played at a position is less than 20 and tied among more than one position, the NFBC commissioner will assign eligibility at one position only.

Yes, you are correct. 16 at DH, only 9 at 3B. His position eligibility has been changed to only UT for now. Once he gets 10 games at a different position, he will earn elig. there, too.

This could become an issue for people thinking they have a 3b or a CI for the first 2 weeks of the season.

Any progress with the issue of UT only players and the inability to move them from the Bench to active UT position in Set Lineup?
