NFBC Offers TWO $75,000 Cash Bonuses In 2019

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Wed Jan 16, 2019 9:02 am

We are happy to announce that the NFBC is offering TWO $75,000 cash bonuses in 2019. One involves the NFBC Main Event and the Rotowire Online Championship and the other one involves the Main Event and the debut NFBC Dirty Dozens. One owner would have to win both overall titles to win the $75,000 cash bonus.

That may sound hard to do, but we've had two NFBC owners already do that over the last 10 years. Lindy Hinkelman did it the very first year we offered this bonus in 2009 and Chad Schroeder did it in 2015 when we had the NFBC Primetime.

Here's the details on each bonus program and we'll get it officially on the site under More shortly:

NFBC BONUS: Once again we are offering a $75,000 cash bonus to anyone who can win the overall titles in the Main Event and the Rotowire Online Championship. Yes, it's tough to do that as we hope to have 540 teams in the Main Event and 2,000+ teams in the Online Championship, but it can be done.

In fact, it's been done twice before here. The insurance company has not won in this policy!! Lindy Hinkelman won this in 2009 and Chad Schroeder won it four years ago among the Online Championship and the Primetime. So yes, it can be done.

If you have a Main Event team, make sure you get at least one team in the Rotowire Online Championship. If you win both overall titles you will win $275,000 plus the $75,000 cash bonus. Now that would be a $350,000 payday without even counting your league prizes!! Pretty cool. But you can't win if you don't play both contests, so jump in now!!

We are also offering a $75,000 cash bonus for winning overall titles in the NFBC Main Event and the debut NFBC Dirty Dozens. That would be a combined $220,000 in overall prizes, likely $10,000 in league prizes and the $75,000 bonus for a payday of over $300,000. The Main Event is expected to attract 540 teams, while the Dirty Dozens will be limited to 192 teams.

Here's the complete details for each bonus program:

NFBC Bonuses
NFBC Main Event / Online Championship Bonus
$75,000
The NFBC will offer a $75,000 cash bonus to any owner who can win the overall titles in both the NFBC Main Event and the Rotowire Online Championship. This cash bonus is called "The Lindy" because Lindy Hinkelman of Greencreek, Idaho actually won this bonus the very first year it was offered (2009). To win this $75,000 cash bonus, an NFBC owner has to win the NFBC Main Event overall title AND the Online Championship overall title. If someone pulls off that feat, the total prize winnings will be $350,000 plus league winnings. Only those owners entered in both events -- and one owner can have multiple teams in each event -- have a shot at this $75,000 cash bonus.

NFBC Bonuses
NFBC Main Event /Dirty Dozen Bonus
$75,000
The NFBC will also offer a $75,000 cash bonus to any owner who can win the overall titles in both the NFBC Main Event and the debut NFBC Dirty Dozens. To win this $75,000 cash bonus, an NFBC owner has to win the NFBC Main Event overall title AND the NFBC Dirty Dozens overall title. If someone pulls off that feat, the total prize winnings will be $275,000 plus league winnings. Only those owners entered in both events -- and the Dirty Dozens are limited to two teams per owner while owners can have multiple Main Event teams -- have a shot at this $75,000 cash bonus.

In 2015 Chad Schroeder of Omaha, Nebraska also defied the odds to win the $75,000 cash bonus in a similar format as this. Chad won the NFBC Primetime and the Rotowire Online Championship overall titles that year to win the bonus. Chad took home the $80,000 grand prize in each contest and the $75,000 cash bonus en route to $305,000 in winnings that year. The two contests had 1,704 participants between them. See, it can be done.

Thanks all and best of luck. The season is almost upon us, so don't delay!!
