Win A FREE 2020 NFBC Main Event Entry: $125 Satellite

Okay, we did some brainstorming today at the office over beers and came up with a new -- yet old -- idea that should work well in the NFBC.

In fact, we did this concept years ago and it's actually why we named private leagues where all of the money stays within the league "Satellite Leagues." They were patterned after the World Series of Poker where one person could win a Satellite League and earn a seat at the WSOP table. They began as "winner-take-all" leagues with the first place finisher earning a free Main Event entry a year later and grew into the addition of "pay top 3 leagues" too.

The winner-take-all format was somewhat popular and helped us continue to sell out the Main Event. Then we went away from them for various reasons and never went back to offering them. UNTIL NOW.

Starting today, we have added some $125 Satellite Leagues that you can find in the Contest Lobby labeled "$125 Main Event Qualifier." These are going to be nightly drafts at 1 minute per pick and are 15 teams, 30-rounds with FAAB. This is a winner-take-all contest with the first place team earning a FREE 2020 Main Event entry, valued at $1700. It's a great way for owners who always wanted to compete in the Main Event to earn a spot, and for owners who always return to the Main Event to secure their spot for only $125.

The first $125 Main Event Qualifier Satellite League is Thursday night at 9 pm ET. We'll offer them every couple of days and more often in March if demand is there. Check it out and if you're looking for a fun 15-team league with FAAB to compete in, this one has a great top prize that could lead to a $150,000 grand prize one year later. Enjoy. Here's the contest page for this one:

Okay, we are also doing this with the Rotowire Online Championship in mind, but paying three prizes here. We have created a $50 Rotowire OC Qualifier Satellite League. These also will be nightly drafts at 1 minute per pick, but 12 teams and 30 rounds with FAAB. These won't be moderated, so make your picks wisely and don't make a mistake.

First place will win $100 and a FREE 2020 Rotowire Online Championship entry. Second place will earn $100 and third place will earn $50. Here's the contest link for this one:

These leagues will also be available most nights at 9 ET and we think they will be a lot of fun, while providing a lot of our owners with a shot at winning the $125,000 grand prize in the Online Championship the following year. Love it.

We are going to offer these same contests in football as well, so look for them soon there. Let's have MORE drafts every night on the site and get more teams locked into next year's big-money contests earlier.

Good luck everyone and enjoy.

That 13.6 for one return is very attractive.

Really hoping it's an avenue for more customers to jump into our signature event. I'll take the credit

On top of this type of entry, you could take advantage of fanball and promote on twitter and have nightly DFS to win anything from main to satty’s to OC’s. Makes them must fill contests. Know you do the bigger contests for mains every week, but could even make 20 man $100 contests etc for rake and then gives you all season to have those entries applied to football or baseball. Might bring more of your clients to fanball rather than other DFS sites as your $ contests usually aren’t best. Use it as a possible growing base or when players lose hope on their season long team but still want to play baseball. You might have to prompt contests on here inseason at first to drive traffic as well as twitter but has to start somewhere...
