Raise your hand

Post by mdecav » Sat Mar 02, 2019 8:22 am

Who has Sal Perez?

Me in the Ogden $1,000 DC. Found out in the 42nd round and had to decide between Greiner and if they’d go for Maldonado. I took Greiner and somebody took Maldonado a few picks later.

Then I grabbed Cam. Frickin. Gallagher.

I’ve learned to rarely draft catchers early in bigger money drafts. For the most part, I will wait until round 20 before acquiring my first. The position is just too demanding and most catchers either underperform projections by playing hurt or simply get hurt and are zeros.

Rarely Gekko interests me, but today he has. I have to agree 100%. Especially with the catching pool the way it is this year, now more than ever I'm not touching a catcher earlier than round 20 unless by some miracle one of the few top guys falls that far which won't happen in any of the high stakes leagues.
