NOW ONLY 2 DAYS LEFT IN THE 2019 NFBC DRAFTING SEASON!!!

That's right, Draft Day is like Christmas Day but every day is Draft Day for someone in the NFBC!! So let's start the countdown to MLB Opening Day and let you know how many drafting days are left to go. This is going to be another record year in the NFBC and it sure looks like every national contest is going to be a sellout. Don't delay if you want to get in the battle for these great overall prizes because we are ready to give over $3.5 million in prize money away this season. Shouldn't you earn some of it?

Let's get things rolling today as there are only 23 drafting days left. Even if you have to limp to home plate like Kirk Gibson did in the 1988 World Series, it's still possible to hit a home run and bring home the title. Is there a better 23 to represent what we're talking about? Let me know and then look for a new photo and countdown each day. This is when it gets fun!!!

If you never have been to an NFBC live event, you are missing the “Thrill” of a lifetime. It’s not too late to come to Vegas where you’ll get the added bonus of the first weekend of March Madness. And the best part (at least for some of us Midwesterners) is the extended forecast for Wednesday, March 19 is Sunny and 75. Wait … isn’t that a Joe Nichols song?

The 2019 Major League Baseball season officially opens three weeks from today. ONLY 21 DAYS FROM NOW!!! Counting today, that means you have 21 drafting days left in the NFBC.

Hopefully you remember every great drafting day, just like we remember the great Roberto Clemente.

NOW ONLY 20 DRAFTING DAYS LEFT IN THE NFBC SEASON. Have you picked that winning team yet?

Speaking of winners, there are few better than the late, great Frank Robinson. He was so good that the Orioles AND the Reds retired his Number 20. He was a two-time MVP, Gold Glove winner and the 1956 Rookie of the Year. So good, so good.

We would honor 18 DRAFTING DAYS LEFT IN THE NFBC SEASON with a Moises Alou Cubs jersey, but that would only bring back bad memories of the Bartman Game for Cubs' fans!! An Expos jersey would be better, but let's see if this one works:

We have now SOLD OUT the NFBC Main Event for 15 straight seasons. It's not as good as Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hitting streak, but we strive to reach that goal one day. Enjoy.

The NFBC Hall of Fame speech by Mark Srebro in Las Vegas ranks right up there with this one as "the luckiest man on the face of the earth." Come to think of it, John Pausma's Main Event title speech was right there with these two as well.
