Your words, "How about this after tomorrow night I will have 3 teams in this event- if your team would score higher than any of my 3 in the main event I will never post on these boards again.
What are you willing to put up in return of that? The return does not have to be the same you are such easy money that it is good for everyone in this event that you are in it."
Since my team is sooo "horrible" in your eyes, why don't you stand by your words. If my team "Crazy Like a Fox" March 28th Satellite League - finishes higher than any one of your 3 teams, you will not post (I won't say ever) in 2008.
If my team does not finisher higher than any of your 3 teams, then I will not make one post in 2008, along with a formal apology at the end of the season stating what a dumbazz I am and how Chestie is truly a better fantasy player (ugggggggh.....that ain't easy)
I don't plan to lose. Do you got the balls to stand by your words or are you just blowing smoke?

Why don't you all bow down and say I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy.

Crazy Fox,
This thing with Chest IS bordering on obsession!
It's turning into something like Kathy Bates in "Misery" or Glenn Close in "Fatal Attraction".
Just play the Main Event next year and avenge your good name.

I have taken my rabbits and hidden them.
I have asked the guys in the champs league to sign a NFBC hat for Big Dog as a peace gesture. Stevieland insisted upon personalizing it because he was worried big dog would try and sell it. Eddie Gillis misspelled Best wishes (sorry Eddie could not resist I love you bro) but other than that all is good.

Folks, just ignore the ass.
This guy obviously craves attention. Take away what he craves, and he'll wither away.
Just ignore him.
Hey Greg, we need an "ignore feature" for the boards!

Apparently Chest doesn't stand by what he says, which doesn't surprise me.
He is not a great fantasy player. Just the fact he has to put his draft into some sort of analytical formula to tell him he did well in a draft tells me he can't make his own predictions, he relies on others too much.
So I'll just have fun whipping him this year and facing him in the main event next year.
I'm not obsessed, I just find it hilarious this guy gets any respect with his obvious lack of baseball knowledge and foresight.
I hope next time he says he'll do something, he'll do it, not backtrack and hide.
So good luck moron.

Well...
Chest beat myself and 13 others in the 2005 Main Event for $5,000.00.
He's currently dominating the Content Panel league...holding a double digit lead on the 2nd place team. (One of the NFBC founding fathers)
So I'd say he knows baseball as well as knows how to win at fantasy baseball...I may only know baseball.

Crazy Fox,
It's all about a track record, and a track record on the big stage (the NFBC). Chest has one, and a very good one at that. And you, well you're an unknown with no track record, atleast not on this stage, the big stage. The level of competition heightens when $1,300 is on the line. When you play the Main Event, that is when you'll start to earn some respect, until then your posts can't be taken seriously.

Because you have $1,250 available to throw into a fantasy league does not mean you are superior in any way when it comes to your talent in creating a winner. I can compete with any of you guys any day of the week, I don't need to join the main event to prove myself to anyone.
I welcome you to my 11x11 fantasy league next year, you surely will have your hands full.
The 5x5 is too simple, and fantasy baseball can't stay in this mode forever. It's too basic. I am not saying my 11x11 is perfect as it has some redundant stats, but it does make it more interesting and it certainly requires more time and skill.

Fox, you really just do not get it.
Most of the people who post here do not just throw $1,300 (or $650 or $5,000 or multiples of all) around because we are bored and can **** that kind of money away. Most of these people are average men and women who have a passion (besides their spouses, children and sometimes jobs) and are willing to use their (limited) discretionary income to join the NFBC because it offers one thing...competition. Most if not all of us have tried many formats (auction, draft, large owner pools, small pools, and increased categories to the 10x10 or 11x11 level) over years if not decades. Most of us are tired of being the dominate player in our leagues and want more. I certainly found it here.
The NFBC does not have the low-stakes casual player who tanks or fire-sales mid-way through the season because a butterfly distrated there attention.
So, we were all already the "NYY" of our leagues. Been there. Done that. Got the T-Shirt. We have already been where you say you are. But talk is cheap.
Not everyone can afford the NFBC and that is OK. But if someone can, dive in because I think it is safe to say the consensus of others who come from the same background (fantasy baseball wise) that you say you come from is that until you have produced against so many other hard-core fantasy players, claims of being the "Michael Jordan" of anything is just going to be treated as bluster. It is success against this level of competition (and not the format or number of categories) that make you a champion.
Chest has won against this level of competition. You haven't. I haven't. Nuff said.
