Biggest Early Disappointment?

I vote for Soriano. He went 2 or 3 in almost every draft. To date, is batting a measley .200 for 35 Atbats. He has ZERO HR, and only 1 SB. Batting leadoff, he has managed only 3 runs with ZERO RBI

What? his performance or noting how bad some people have started? Of course it is, this is just for fun, I completely recognize that it is very early

Biggest disappointment has to be any hitter on the Indians or Mariners. The nerve of these guys for only playing three games last week!

My biggest dissapointment: God

Whats with all the snow in Cleveland?

On the positive side, if it weren't for fantasy baseball, I wouldn't have had the joy of learning about "lake-effect" snow.

Biggest Early Disappointment?

Too early to tell on any of my players if they will dissappoint, but I will continue my mantra on my bad luck with pitching. Here are stats on a selected six of my first 13 starts:

39.2 IP, 28 H, 11 BB, 22K, 5 ER. K's are light but the WHIP (0.9832) and ERA (1.134) certainly help, but how many wins in those six selected starts...NONE. Big disappointment.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Biggest disappointment? MY CLOSERS

Closers were not a priority going into the draft, so I ended up with 1 questionable closer and 4 backups. Their performance would not be so painful now if not for the opportunities they've squandered:

Lidge - providing only pain

Wheeler - see above

Julio - see above, add the word excruciating

Otsuka - one damn save opp?

Capps - the best of the group and the only one not given a chance

I have to agree with Spy...Soriano has disappointed...i know just one week, but for #3 pick in Ultamite, not good start!

also, i have to include jorge julio. anyone who "lucks" into a set up guy becoming closer knows the excitement...those with julio, know 3 for 3 (all blown saves)

Ryan Howard has to start getting some consideration...he's so bad right now, they're not even walking him to get to Burrell anymore.

I have Shealy, and while the other guys on my team started off slow (A.Jones, Baldelli, Cabrera, Lofton, etc.) this sack of dung has not come around.

I'm giving him a week or two more, and then I'm benching him, as he is killing my utility position.

You could've put Pujols in this group as well until today (2 hr, 5rbi).

Hey, those are my two closers in the Mag II league! Picked up Soria today - hopefully he'll get a few for me.
"This guy here is dead."
"Cross him off then."
