WELCOME EVERYONE to the 16th annual NFBC Live Events in Las Vegas!!

I am already out in Las Vegas at Park MGM and have rolled out the red carpet for your arrival. The weather looks good for travel and almost every single league out here is Sold Out. Let The Games Begin!!

Okay, we have a full schedule, so let's all get on the same page and do this. First the details:

LOCATION: Park MGM (the former Monte Carlo; NOT MGM GRAND)

All of our events will be hosted on the 2nd floor of the Convention Center. On any Guest elevator, it is the Spa floor. The Convention Center is located just off the hotel lobby. It's easy to find.

If you enter the Convention Center on the first floor, just take the escalator up one floor and take a right. There is a nice lobby area as we walk in where many of you who aren't drafting can talk about baseball. All of our events except for Saturday will be in Griffith 1, Griffith 2, Griffith 3 and Griffith 4 (on the left side). Saturday's 7 Main Event leagues will be hosted in the Presidio Ballrooms right across the hall from the Griffiths.

Right next to Griffith 1 is the Central Park Terrace where drafters can walk outside for some fresh air or even to -- God forbid!!! -- have a smoke. The entire setup is very nice for congregating in the lobby with other owners, for getting some air outside for a bit, and for private drafts. This Convention Center is just 1 year old, so everything is shiny and new!! And I think we are the lone conference up here this weekend, so we may have the joint to ourselves.

Thursday, March 21st:
4 pm PT - Griffith 2 Platinum Draft Spot Bidding Starts
5 pm PT - Griffith 1 $1400 Auction Championship
5 pm PT - Griffith 2 Main Event
5 pm PT - Griffith 3 Main Event

Friday, March 22nd:
10 am - Griffith 1 $750 Online Championship Plus
10 am - Griffith 3 $1400 Auction Championship
10 am - Griffith 4 NL Auction
4 pm - Griffith 1 $1400 Auction Championship
4 pm - Griffith 2 AL Auction
4 pm - Griffith 3 Ultimate Auction
4 pm - Griffith 4 $750 Rotowire Online Championship PLus

Saturday, March 23rd:
10 am - Presidio 1-5 Main Event
4 pm - Griffith 1 $2500 Auction Championship
4 pm - Griffith 2 $1400 Auction Championship
5 pm - Griffith 3 Platinum League
4 pm - Griffith 4 Super
4 pm - Presidio 2 $750 Online Championship Plus

Sunday, March 24th:
10 am - Griffith 1 Diamond League
10 am - Griffith 2 $1400 Auction Championship
4 pm - Griffith 1 Diamond Auction League
4 pm - Griffith 2 Main Event
4 pm - Griffith 3 Super

Monday, March 25th:
5 pm - Griffith 1 Main Event

Wednesday, March 27th:
5 pm - Griffith 1 Main Event

Because of the early start on Thursday of all three events plus the Platinum draft spot drawing, I don't have plans for a Thursday Welcome Reception like past years. The suites at Park MGM just aren't big enough for what we hosted at the Bellagio. But maybe after Thursday's drafts we'll see what we can put together. Stay tuned. The plan is still coming together!!!

We aren't done out here in Las Vegas yet as we still have live Main Event leagues tonight and Wednesday night at Park MGM. Good luck to all drafting during these last three days of the season.

That being said, I want to take the time right now to give a BIG THANKS to everyone who drafted live with us this year in Las Vegas. I mean, things couldn't have gone smoother or better out here.

Everyone showed up on time for the drafts. Everyone was prepared and ready to go for the drafts and auctions. The Park MGM couldn't have had a better setup for us with the biggest screens in the history of high stakes fantasy sports!! It was like drafting at an outdoor theater with those babies. And the setup for the Main Event was so fantastic and the room had such a special feel that you just knew this is going to be the way this Saturday morning Main Event goes every year going forward.

Yes, the Online continues to grow and grow, but Saturday WAS IT. There's nothing like being in that room with those 7 Mains going at once and 100+ great owners all battling through the ADPs to get their guys. The camaraderie before, during and after drafts was unprecedented as so many NFBC owners were staying at or near Park MGM that baseball talk continued through the day and night. It was an unprecedented weekend for the NFBC and certainly one of the best -- if not THE BEST -- weekends of live events we've ever had.

The facilitators were smooth and now just one facilitator can call out the picks and make the picks on an iPad. It's so smooth that drafts get done in about 3 hours and 15 minutes and the auction portion of Auctions get done in 4 hours to 4:15. Time is money in Las Vegas, so we try to be as efficient as possible and get you guys to the next draft or next bar or next baseball conversation or next MTM party!!! We're efficient.

Thanks again all. I'll start a separate thread for feedback on the Park MGM, but I wanted to reach out first on this thread to just thank everyone who came to Las Vegas. If I didn't say hi in person, I apologize. There were a lot of folks to talk to. But hopefully you got to meet me, Tom, Darik, Mike, Kim, Tammy or any other of our helpers and enjoyed your time with us. Thanks again and best of luck this season.
