I'm sure there's someone out there with more, but I now have 5 guys on the DL - Prior (no surprise), Rivera (knew it would be a while when I got him), Weaver, Quentin, and Bard. Anyone have a sadder story? If so, fess up.

3 of your DL guys were known at the draft to be DL. I have Furcal, Figgins, Kemp and Matsui, none of which were known at the draft. I need them back. Steals and power

For what it is worth. Here are my injuries, to date. These include my 3rd and 4th round picks.
Victor Martinez (perennial day to day);
Josh Bard (DL)
Kenny Rogers (DL- subsequently cut);
Chone Figgins (DL);
Nick Johnson (drafted as a DL)
Juan Rivera (drafted as a DL)
Adam LaRoche (Oh, he's not injured, he sure is playing like he is hurt)

Richie they call that bad luck.
Marv they call that bad drafting.
There is a difference.

The injury bug has been an annoying problem for me because of the quantity. Fortunately, I haven't lost any big stars (yet - fingers crossed), but the support system and bench are in tatters.
Josh Bard - DL
Dan Johnson - DL - released
Jeremy Hermida - DL
Jay Payton - DL - released
Rondell White - DL (FA fill-in for Hermida)
Freddy Garcia - DL
Pedro Martinez - DL (calculated risk, obviously)
Mark Prior - AAA (bad shoulder - DL?)
Brad Lidge - Lost-the-closer-role-itis

Dotel - DL
Furcal - DL
Loaiza - DL
Bray - DL (thought he would close)
Garza - sent down
Coste - DL (I was desperate for a #2 catcher... didn't realize he was the #3 catcher on the DC for philly)
Angel Guzman - lost 5th spot to Wade Miller (sad)
Gordon/Shealy/Paulino/K. Johnson/Guillen - wish they were on the DL with their AVG
Kubel/Sosa - platooning now

and- since you are from cleveland- no baseball team.the indians lost all that revenue that after signing westbrook- they have no $ left for hafner and sabathia. i think they should trade cc to the white sox for danks. and play triple headers on sundays to make the games up.

add derosa (back) and aramis ramirez (wrist) to the list. ramirez wrist is so swollen- they think it could be a big problem.

Nah, we will be fine... we will still sign Pronk, although I think Sabathia is gone for sure now, but he was going to ask for too much anyhow.. we have Miller to take his place after 2 years hopefully... losing Sabathia by 2009 wont kill the Indians, and with Westbrook and Pronk and a young lineup getting better each year, I expect a contender for years to come.. but then again, I'm from Cleveland.. we say this crap every year haha
