Okay, we are offering another chance to turn$50 into a FREE 2020 NFBC Main Event entry PLUS $50 this Tuesday night in our NFBC/Fanball $50/50 Teams Contest. Last week we finished with 45 of 50 spots filled and provided a payout at 95.6%. Here's the prizes as we pay Top 3:

1st Place - 2020 NFBC Main Event Entry Plus $50

Todd Schoenfeld of Concord, California won the FREE Main Event entry last week. He's our first signup for 2020!! He can win it again this week as there's no limit to how many free entries you can win. Or maybe you'll be the next to win the free Main Event entry.

Here's the rules for this contest again:

Roster Requirements
Rosters will consist of 9 players and must include players from at least 2 different MLB teams from at least 2 different MLB games. In addition, no more than 5 players from one team are permitted on rosters.

Rules
In Fanball salary cap contests, entrants create a lineup by using players listed in the Player Pool to fill each defined roster requirement. All players have an assigned salary, and a valid roster will not have a salary cap that exceeds $55,000. In addition, the Player Pool will consist of all players expected to be on the active rosters for any team listed in the contest's event set.

Contest results will be determined by the total points accumulated by each individual lineup entry based on the scoring system detailed below.

Participants in each contest must adhere to Fanball's Master Terms of Service. Failure to comply with said terms will result in disqualification and, if applicable, prize forfeiture.

I'm a big fan of these and obviously helps to win but would be a shame to end them. Maybe give it one more try at $50 with 40 teams but just the Main Event Entry (no other prizes) or keep a prize for 2nd place but do $60 with 40 teams?

Also maybe Friday nights would be better than Tuesday. We have to come on the website to set lineups already on Friday so maybe the Friday lineup traffic would help get more entries.

I joined three entries the prior week and planned to continue that but had a work interruption that prevented me from joining yesterday. Hope we can bring this back to life.

We had 45 entries the first week, so 50 is certainly doable. I'm not opposed to doing a Friday contest over a Tuesday contest, but I'm not sure Memorial Day weekend is the right time to launch that. Let us talk internally and we'll see if we can come up with the right plan. We love the idea and saw in football that we sold this out every week and awarded 17 FREE Primetime/Classic entries and one Super League entry. So it can work.

We can launch these whenever we want, so let's talk internally and we'll see what we can do to keep this baby rolling.

Okay, we've talked internally about revving this $50/50 Teams Contest up again now that the Second Chance Leagues are completed. We will take your advice and try for an upcoming Friday. Let's shoot for next Friday Night and give everyone a chance to get used to the new schedule. Maybe we won't do these every week going forward, but let's see.
