Updated: Suspended Game - Athletics v Tigers May 19

Post by Deadheadz » Mon May 20, 2019 9:01 am

Edit: So NO stats from this game are counting in week 8 Cutline?

Please confirm for us that since this game isn’t scheduled to be completed until Sep 6 the stats accrued to this point are final for the sake of Cutline but not final for the sake of roto games, right?

What a mess it would be if Fiers does or does not get the W on Sep 6 and it somehow affects the cutdown and/or final standings.

The stats from yesterday's suspended game will be included in the current stats/standings for all NFBC contests. That is how MLB is recognizing the stats and we will do the same. When the game is resumed and finalized the remaining stats will then be applied to that scoring period.

So I don't have to have Fiers in my lineup the week of Sept 6 for him to get credit for a win, correct? (Assuming of course the A's hold on and he gets credited with a win)

If he was in your starting lineup last week you'll get the win. You will not get credit for the win if he was on your bench last week and you start him the week the game is resumed and he gets the win.

All NFBC contests?

How will this work in Cutline? Will final league standings change when/if Fiers gets the extra 6 points for the win?

What the hell is going on? Sept 6 is a bit late to be revising Cutline history.

No. Stats from that suspended game have been included to this point and the Cutline regular season will be finalized with stats through the All-Star break. The playoffs will be determined at the All-Star break with stats that are finalized at that point.
