Why is Cron listed as a 3B on the free agent list?
He played more minor league games this year at 1B.
He also played with Arizona last night at 1B.

All players' eligibility is based on the games played the year before. Cron played 57 games in 2018 at Third Base and 46 games in 2018 at First Base. Cron, just like every other player in the NFBC, has his eligibility established before the season based on games played in 2018.

Once he plays 10 games at First Base with Arizona he can add eligibility there.
