Win 2020 Main Event Entry In Friday's $50/50 Teams Contest
Posted: Thu Aug 01, 2019 1:12 pm
Okay, let's do this again. We've now given away eight FREE 2020 NFBC Main Event entries in this DFS format and five of those owners weren't in the NFBC Main Event last year. This is a great way to earn an entry into our signature contest without paying the $1,700 entry fee. Who's ready for this contest?
Last week we had 46 of 50 spots full, so the ROI for the players was better than expected. In fact, we've sold out only two of the eight contests, but we are always close enough to keep making this FREE entry available. But you'd make me feel better if we sold this one out on Friday.
The contest link is now available and the contest is open for Registration. Look for player salaries for this contest later this afternoon. Good luck all in this fun contest, which gives away a FREE 2020 NFBC Main Event entry to the top team. Here's the signup link:

We have eight owners who have already won a FREE NFBC 2020 Main Event entry so far. They include:
Week 1 - Todd Schoenfeld
Week 2 - Phillipe Dussault
Week 3 - Colin Weatherwax
Week 4 - Adam Warner
Week 5 - Roger Martin
Week 6 - Michael Alloca
Week 7 - Erik Sviggum
Week 8 - Dave Shovein
Just a reminder that we pay the Top 3 finishers in this 50-team contest. Payouts are as follows:
1st Place - 2020 NFBC Main Event Entry Plus $50
2nd Place - $300
3rd Place - $100
There's a max of three teams per owner. Here's the rules for this contest again:
Roster Requirements
Rosters will consist of 9 players and must include players from at least 2 different MLB teams from at least 2 different MLB games. In addition, no more than 5 players from one team are permitted on rosters.
The 9 Roster positions are:
P (SP/RP)
C
1B
2B
3B
SS
OF (LF/CF/RF)
OF (LF/CF/RF)
UTIL (C/1B/DH/2B/3B/SS/LF/CF/RF)
Rules
In Fanball salary cap contests, entrants create a lineup by using players listed in the Player Pool to fill each defined roster requirement. All players have an assigned salary, and a valid roster will not have a salary cap that exceeds $55,000. In addition, the Player Pool will consist of all players expected to be on the active rosters for any team listed in the contest's event set.
Contest results will be determined by the total points accumulated by each individual lineup entry based on the scoring system detailed below.
Participants in each contest must adhere to Fanball's Master Terms of Service. Failure to comply with said terms will result in disqualification and, if applicable, prize forfeiture.
