My ptching staff on a whole has been a 5 on the frustration pole. Of course injuries are a part of this game losing Ryan Felix Gagne this time to a pulled Butt muscle are not to me my most frustrating pitcher Has to A Reyes of Cards He simply can not get out of the 1st inning 95% of his earned runs come in the 1st inning Every time he pitches I keep hoping for 1 earned run after that he settles down and actually pitches well. I am sure to all you other Reyes owners you get just as frustrated as I do

Marty I have the solution to your woes. The Cardinals should turn Reyes into a long reliever who would pitch every fifth day, but never start. Instead, Brad Thompson (or any available reliever) would start the game, pitching only the 1st inning. Reyes would enter the game in the 2nd no matter what happened in the first.
You're welcome!

Even better than using Thompson, the Cardinals could give Marc Iavaroni a call.
