Sale-Glasnow-Correa. All you need to know. Was as high as third two weeks out, but no moral victory for me. This league was one of the closest in NFBC history in terms of the standings the entire season with as few as 10 points separating first through 13th place at times. Just crazy parity of competition with Einhorn's "no pitching" strategy somehow working to pull off the upset in the in end over Stermon. I'll be posting more under the MTM Ultimate thread soon about this league.

I wonder why I didn’t own any of those players on my 7 managed leagues?

In any event, I just did a quick review of your FAAB pickups, and something sticks out like a sore thumb...I don’t see any FAAB pickups for your team after July 21st. Is that correct? If so, what was the thinking behind that?

Probably has something to do with all that hindsight genius of yours, but good for you! And there was no thinking behind my no FAAB pickups after July 21st. It was just plain shit mismanagement on my part in overcompensating for some bad over bids earlier in the year in this extremely tight and competitive league. And it wasn't like there was much to pick up come August/September in the MTM Ultimate anyway. This debacle wasn't just the case in this league, it was several. Yet despite this, I was still able to pull off a few titles including a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd my Mains which is pretty remarkable given this year's overall FAAB disaster on my end. But thanks for your interest and concern, Mark. Perhaps you'll be able to be a part of the the MTM Ultimate in 2020 to test your mettle against far inferior competition to you that you would be up against...Or maybe not.

If anyone is interested in tips on effective FAAB management, please feel free to PM me. There’s always great talent available down the stretch — no fun when you have to sit on the sideline. :(
