NFBC Message Boards

The NFBC hosted five Super Leagues this year with first place being worth $20,000 in the 15-Team leagues and $18,000 in the lone 12-Team league. Here's a look at the money winners and league champions from each league:

Mike Cameron won this Super League title and the $20,000 as he dominated most of the season. Kyle Brinkmann finished second to earn $7,500 and Gaetan Lavoie finished third to earn $5,000.

Gino Yu won this league title and the $20,000 prize with a dominating performance, winning by 12.5 points. Russell Weyland finished second to earn the $7,500 runner-up prize, while Steve Fiore moved into third place in the final week to earn $5,000.

In one of the closest finishes we had this year, Steven Spatz won this league title and the $20,000 league prize by one-half point over Marc Perlmutter. Marc won $7,500 for his runner-up finish, while Kyle Brinkmann won $5,000 for third place, finishing just 1.5 points out of the lead.

Andrew Edenbaum dominated the NFBC's only 12-team Super League and won this $18,000 prize with 109.5 points. Doug Atkins finished second to earn $6,000, while Thomas Warner was 1-point behind to earn $2,000.

We had $2500 Auction Championship leagues where you and Jason Emma won $20,000 in New York and Shawn Johnson won the $20,000 league prize in Las Vegas. Glad you asked.

Congrats on your victory, Matt! Probably the most frustrating ending I've ever had going from being 3 points out of 1st and having a commanding lead in 2nd to tied for 3rd, but thems the breaks...and luckily for you the season didn't go on another day because Brinkman was on your ass lol... we both used up our FAAB way too quick and had so many injuries/benchings to deal with in the final few weeks... turned out ok for you in the end though! Hard fought victory, my man!
