November drafts & auctions

Post by Thurman15 » Thu Oct 24, 2019 12:11 pm

Guys, as we approach the new draft season, I thought it might help if those that are interested, state what type or types they would like to see run in November. I can start it off. I would be interested in any any auction or any of Mike's fast drafts. ** Greg if you remember we convinced you to add an early auction last year, and it did indeed fill. I understand drafts are a bit more popular but I bet we'd fill a couple of auctions as well.

I guess maybe we should clarify how soon the NFBC is willing to get rolling with drafts and auctions.
Rogers Hornsby, Hall of Famer with the Cardinals was once asked " You love Baseball Rogers, but what do you do in the winter ? " His response......"I stare out the window and wait for spring "

Sounds good. We can add an online auction at any time once the site is up and the same goes for a DC Express. If someone nails down a date and time for any of these we can set it up.

We are going to be ready to roll out the draft room and the new site the week of November 5th, which would be our earliest launch yet. We will let the World Series and NFBC Post-Season Contest play out and then will launch at the start of the week after that. We are currently making a tech change that will make the site more responsive and quicker, and that is almost done. After a full season of non-stop drafts for all of our sports, we had a little break that allowed us to install this upgrade.

Everything is on pace for a solid launch and we'll announce contests, prizes and everything else next week. Thanks all and welcome to our 17th NFBC season.
