We are happy to announce that the NFBC Cutline Championship is back in 2020 with a record $75,000 grand prize. We are bullish on this Best Ball contest and expect another record year in this format.

In fact, we love the Best Ball contest so much that we are changing the name of this contest to the NFBC Best Ball Cutline Championship. We need to emphasize to folks that the Best Ball scoring for this contest means very little work after Draft Day. And yet keeping your team ahead of the cutline before and during the playoffs is the key to winning. Thus we have: The NFBC Best Ball Cutline Championship.

This contest will have nightly online drafts throughout the off-season, but we also are offering 4-hour, 2-hour and 1-hour Cutline drafts. These 10-team drafts can cruise through 3-5 rounds per day and can finish in 10-14 days, if not sooner. Last year, Bob Catsiroumpas of London, Ontario won the $70,000 grand prize as he bested a field of 1,740 teams for the top prize.

These are 10-team, 42 round drafts. Remember that starting in Round 31, the clock will be halved to 2 hours and 1 hour respectably. Please learn to use the multi-round queue feature and the Auto-Pick feature. You can now set players in your queue for every round and you can tell the computer to auto-pick from your queue for 1 Round, 2 Rounds, or more. It's a very, very nice feature that will make these DCs move along quickly if more people use it.

Draft spots are announced immediately after the league fills and no KDS is used in Best Ball Cutline Championship leagues. If a league fills after 10 pm ET, it will start the next day at 8 am ET. The nightly pause will be between 2 am and 8 am ET, but you can still make picks during the pause. Plan accordingly everyone.
