FAST DC #2: Paper Tiger: The First 12 Rounds!

Post by Baseball Furies » Wed Nov 13, 2019 7:51 pm

Yes, my friends, I'm already in draft withdrawal, so it's time to get another one of these going! This and the fact that my phone has been blowing up all week about it due to my amazing promotional and draft facilitation skills everyone has come to love so much...(plus Greg texted me on the down low needing another influx of some early season cash for the new snow shoes he's been eyeing at the local Woolworth's :P  ). I actually got a text from someone today bemoaning the fact that a DC he jumped into that began this past Sunday had zipped through a whopping SIX ROUNDS  as of this afternoon! Now that's just an abomination!

Here's some friendly advice if you're reading this and you sign up for even one of the slower DC's that the NFBC has to offer: It will be a lot more fucking fun for you and your fellow league mates if you actually draft your team once you pay for the league and the draft begins rather than not making picks while the clock is running and pissing everyone else off who would rather be drafting their teams instead of doing the equivalent of watching fucking grass grow waiting for you to get around to making your pick! I swear, common sense truly is neither as it applies to the vast majority of society. And I long for the day that the NFBC standard should be nothing less than five rounds a day for these DC's which is entirely doable and reasonable for even the slower offerings of these drafts. But I digress...

Fortunately, this is never the issue in my FAST DC's. So who wants in for Paper Tiger? Another $150 offering and a 2-hour clock which will never come into play. So let's fill this one fast and be ready bang it out come this Sunday! I've started the sign up list below. Post to this thread, text, or PM me if you want a piece of the action! 8-)

Another 50 rounds of quality, kick ass drafting with 14 awesome guys (actually make that 13...Fleming was a douche to me in this one the entire draft). :P This one came in at a shade over 33 hours and was another education for several of us that made this one their first foray into the 2020 drafting season. Great prep, especially when you're using these for the big time of the live, high stakes event come March. Stay tuned for the next one coming Black Friday to a NFBC draft room near you! 8-) I'll post another 10 rounds of results or so soon for this one when I can get to it.
