This number should be down to only THREE SPOTS LEFT as of today as Zack Waxman will be signing up as a result of a little contest that he lost to me. :D So feel free to reach out to him to make sure he ponies up some more of his Canadian Monopoly money to make this official. Let's make it three full Main Event leagues, and if you're lucky, you may even draw me in your league, so that will make it like drafting in only a 14-team league. What a bonus!

NEW YORK, Stewart Hotel
Sunday, March 15, 10 am ET League 2

1. David Einhorn

7. Gregg Beinin
8. Jason Funkhouser
9. Abdul Madani (O)
10. matthew jacobson (O)
11. Adam Lippert (O)
12. Patrick McBride (O)
13. John Pausma (O)

REMINDER: New York participants will get first preference so if we get more than 15 signups all those drafting live will be guaranteed spots in the second league.
This is FANTASTIC to see, but just one question? How is it that if we have 30 sign-ups for Sunday, that there isn't going to be a random draw for league assignments when that's how all the other Main Event leagues are being done other than the solo league in Chicago? Seems to me that this is the only fair way of doing this. No way that sharks like Madani and Pausma get off this easy. So other than drawing Liss for my league ;) , I want an equal shot at drawing everyone else. Please advise. Thanks!

I may not always agree with MTM  however, I 1000% agree on this one. I suggested this be changed a few weeks ago as it doesn't make much sense to allow this to happen.

Honestly I prefer to draft with 15 live drafters and the "tougher" competition than have 4 empty seats at the table

I may not always agree with MTM  however, I 1000% agree on this one. I suggested this be changed a few weeks ago as it doesn't make much sense to allow this to happen.
Honestly I prefer to draft with 15 live drafters and the "tougher" competition than have 4 empty seats at the table
Guys, this is a national contest, so we can't go with a first-come, first-serve mentality here. We don't do it with the Las Vegas Main Events either. Right now we have 24 for Sunday in New York City. We are trying to convince a few more owners to do Sunday, but even if we are at 24 teams that's 12 and 3 Online for each league with 15 great owners in each league. It will be seamless that way and a ton of fun.

I appreciate the feedback and we are ecstatic to have a second Main in New York City that day. 5 Mains in New York City on First Weekend is great. But all 5 will be randomly pulled and Online owners will be interspersed on Saturday and Sunday as well. Enjoy and good luck.
