What Is Your KDS And What Pick Are You Getting?

Okay, I haven't analyzed the KDS preferences that people are setting before today, but with six Main Event leagues being announced today I thought it might be fun to take a look at each one. It's a good way to see what KDS preferences people want and if KDS is helping people get better draft spots.

Let's look at a few now. This one is from one of the March 14th Main Event leagues. Here's the KDS preferences from all 15 owners:

The average KDS preference received by each owner was 5.0 for this league. That means that on average everyone got their 5th preference, which isn't too bad for a 15-team league. Three owners got their first preference (1, 3 & 15), while 8 owners got a Top 4 preference. The lowest preference received was 11th by two different owners. Enjoy.

This New York Main Event didn't fare as well as the average KDS preference received was 6.5, a little above average for a 15-team league. Two owners got their first preference (1 & 4), while 6 owners got a Top 4 preference. The worst preferences received were 11, 12, 13 and 14 as few people in this league wanted the back end.

This New York league finished with a similar KDS preference received of 6.4 per owner. Again, slightly better than average, even though three owners got their first preference (1, 3 & 8) and six got a Top 4 preference. The worst preferences received were 10, 13 and 14.

The final New York league worked out well, with the average KDS preference received as 5.3. Four owners got their first preference (1, 3, 4 & 6), while six owners got a Top 4 preference. The worst preferences received were 9 (twice) and 13.

The average KDS preference for this one was 5.9. Two owners got their first preference (1 & 2), while seven owners got a Top 4 preference. The lowest preferences received were 10 and 11 (twice).

The average KDS preference received was 6.0 even though two owners got their first preference (picks 3 and 4). Ironically, the person who received the 1st pick it was their third preference. This was an interesting one. Six owners got a Top 4 preference, while the worst preferences received were 11 and 13 (twice).

The New York Solo Shot didn't fare well for everyone as the average KDS preference received was 6.6. Two owners got their first preference (1 and 4), while seven owners got a Top 4 preference. However the worst preferences received were 13th, 14th and 15th, which ruined everything.

The average KDS preference received in this one was 6.1 as seven owners just left it 1-15. Three owners got their first preference (picks 1, 3 and 4), while six owners got a Top 4 preference. The worst preferences received were 10, 11, 12, 13.
