The NFBC Draft Champions National Championship officially ends tonight, Sunday, April 5th. Thanks to everyone who made this contest a record-breaking season as we finished with 284 full leagues and 4,260 teams. Amazing numbers everyone.

While we had to end this contest to keep the playing field level for everyone who drafted from November through April, we realize that people still love this format and the 4-hour and 2-hour DCs are almost therapeutic for some folks. We have been asked if we would provide private Draft Champions leagues or even a second national championship. We gave both ideas a lot of thought and came up with a new Second Chance National Championship.

Since we don't know when baseball will return, the thought is to provide a Second Chance overall contest that consists of only 15 leagues/225 teams and then end it. If we fill that one quickly and Major League Baseball is still weeks or more away, we'll whip up another Second Chance contest that again consists of 15 leagues/225 teams. These are small enough to give everyone a chance at the top overall prize, while still providing the same league prizes at the $150 price point. And it will give drafters another therapeutic way to enjoy this format.

So here's the details of this new national contest, which is already live on Registration:

Overall Prizes:
1st Place = $2,500
2nd Place = $1,000
3rd Place = $500
4th Place = $400
5th Place = $300
6th Place = $200
7th Place = $100

Right now we are just offering $150 price points, but if there is demand for a $400 or $1,000 DC league we can offer that. Same league prizes would be offered as the first DC National Championship. Also, we are not providing Special Packages for this format (3-Packs, 6-Packs, etc.), so individual signups only. Enjoy and good luck. And again, thanks for the strong support for this fun format.

We currently have 4-hour and 2-hour $150 Draft Champions leagues available and we will start with Express Leagues on Friday and Sunday night. If there's demand for more Express leagues we will add them. We will learn of the demand together and plan accordingly, but all prizes are guaranteed for this format, so enjoy.

Okay, all 15 leagues sold out for this Second Chance Draft Champions League. The Red portion of this national contest is now SOLD OUT.

We will add one more 15-league Draft Champions National Contest called DC White. We have 26 days to sell it out, so look for several 2-hour and Express leagues for this format. Many of the Express leagues will appear in the last week of drafting. Enjoy and good luck.
