Absolutely freaking amazing. I wonder if you, Tom, Darik and team (not sure who the team is but didn't want to leave anyone out) have slept in the last few weeks.

Two Corona's (the good kind) for the team on me. Send the bill to MtM.

Congrats!

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

SOLD OUT: The NFBC Main Event officially sold out for the 16th straight year despite everything that coronavirus threw at us and our great customer base. Now let's do this MLB!!!

Thanks Wayne. Much appreciated.

I don't think the three of us have really taken much time off since the first week of February. After the March cancellations, we worked day and night to close out all of the national contests by April 15th and then we still held baseball or football drafts each night after that. Then over the last three weeks we've been working split shifts with me first thing in the morning and Tom and Darik sometimes watching drafts until 2-3 am. And we are also having our biggest NFFC season to date so far, so that's kept us busy as well.

But everyone came through and if MLB can now pull off this Sprint season it will all be worth it. Management here at SportsHub Games Network has been extremely supportive of our decisions and when $3+ million needed to be refunded we had that money on accounts in less than 8 hours. When new budgets had to be created to show lost revenue, they approved it. When we asked for more help to help watch online drafts this week we got it. It's been a total team effort.

But think about this Sprint Main Event for a second. We announced the new contest, new prizes and new entry fee just 21 days ago. That contest was going to be almost exclusively online and we were starting from scratch, while guaranteeing a $100,000 grand prize. We had absolutely no idea who would agree to a $1200 entry fee for a 60-game season, but guaranteed the prize pool anyway.

And within 21 days we not only had 510 teams, but exceeded it with 570 teams. And we probably could fill two more leagues if we wanted to push it, but enough is enough. We couldn't be more ECSTATIC or PROUD.

Same with the Rotowire Online Championship. That was the hardest contest to project. We went low and hoped for the best. Now we're shutting it off early because we reached our max limit that we published on the site. 80 leagues, 960 teams in 21 days is incredible.

Enjoy the next two days of drafting and then let's all enjoy the most unique MLB season in history. We deserve a little sunshine, baseball and beer over the next 9+ weeks. Thanks all and stay well.
