Matthew Bredin Wins Rotowire OC Title & $25,000

Matthew Bredin of Clyde River, Prince Island won the 2020 Rotowire Sprint Online Championship and the $25,000 grand prize against a field of 960 teams. This is Matthew's second Rotowire Online Championship overall title as he also won $100,000 in our football Rotowire Online Championship in 2015. That's one helluva accomplishment Matthew and one that very few people can put on their resume.

Matthew finished with 8,842.5 points out of a possible 9,600 points, earning 92.1 percent of available points in the overall championship. He also ran away with his league title as he scored 114.5 out of a possible 120 points. He also won two other Rotowire Online Championship league titles and a Cutline Best Ball Championship league title, earning first place finishes in four of the six leagues he entered this year.

But it was the Justice Berrys III team that pulled out the overall title. He drafted third in that league and started out with Gerrit Cole, Adalberto Mondesi, Clayton Kershaw and Josh Hader, but he added Trevor Bauer in the sixth round and several other good values later in the draft to win the overall title. Well done Matthew and congrats on the second overall title in the last 5+ seasons.

Andrew Geller moved up one spot on the final day of the season to grab the runner-up spot, while Ronny Mor, Matt Kupferle and Toby Guevin rounding out the Top 5. Here's a look at the final standings:
