NOW ONLY 35 DAYS UNTIL 2021 MLB OPENING DAY!! Exactly 5 weeks from today we'll all be sitting back and enjoying 15 MLB games.

Let's kick off the day with the Big Hurt. This Hall of Famer was a masher, hitting 521 homers and driving in 1,704 runs while hitting .301 for his career. He played 19 seasons and finished with a remarkable .419 OBP as he led the league in walks four times, while crushing 40 or more homers five times. He was definitely The Big Hurt.

NOW ONLY 34 DAYS UNTIL 2021 MLB OPENING DAY!!

Who better to throw out the first pitch for this day than Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan. The Ryan Express still holds the MLB record with 5,714 strikeouts as he had six seasons of 300+ strikeouts (including one at age 42). He led the league in strikeouts 11 times, including a stretch of four straight years when he was age 40, 41, 42 and 43!!! Was this man human? Wow, he was ahead of his time for sure.

NOW ONLY 33 DAYS UNTIL 2021 MLB OPENING DAY!!!

Whenever you can commemorate America's Pastime with a player in a Montreal Expos' uniform you do it!! Larry Walker made the Hall of Fame with a prodigious swing and a stadium in high altitude when he moved to Colorado. Walker finished with a career .313 average, 2,160 hits, 383 homers and 230 stolen bases. He also had a career .400 OBP and he led the majors in homers in 1997 with 49. That year he hit .366 with 49 homers, 130 RBI, 33 stolen bases and 143 Runs!!! Wow, what a season. He didn't even win a batting title that year, but he did win one three times. What a career.

NOW ONLY 32 DAYS UNTIL 2021 MLB OPENING DAY!!!

Spring training games opened today, so we are getting closer and closer to the start of the 2021 MLB season. We'll honor that by featuring Steve Carlton, the Hall of Fame lefty who won 322 games while posting a career ERA of 3.22. He finished with 4,136 strikeouts, while leading the league in strikeouts five times and registering 20 or more wins in six seasons. One of the best lefties ever.

NOW ONLY 31 DAYS UNTIL 2021 MLB OPENING DAY!!!

We have asked Greg Maddux to throw out today's first pitch because nobody is more reliable to throw a strike than this first-ballot Hall of Famer and four time Cy Young Award winner. Maddux led the league in ERA four times and he won 355 games, most of any pitcher in the last 50 years. He finished with a 3.16 ERA while striking out 200 batters in a season only ONCE. Amazing.

I failed to do my job yesterday, so we'll lead off with one of the best leadoff hitters of all-time, Tim Raines. It's another Expos' jersey, I know, but it looks great!!! Enjoy.

NOW ONLY 29 DAYS UNTIL 2021 MLB OPENING DAY!!

We'll let John Smoltz throw out the first pitch for this one, and he might even throw out the last pitch. Smoltz is a Hall of Famer who won 213 games while throwing 53 complete games and 16 shutouts. But he also saved 154 games as he became one of the top closers in the game. He finished with a career ERA of 3.33, while striking out 3,084 batters. Well done Smoltzie.

NOW ONLY 28 DAYS UNTIL 2021 MLB OPENING DAY!!

That's right, four weeks from today we'll be watching 15 MLB games and the start of the 2021 MLB season. PLAY BALL!!

Let's kick today off with Pedro Guerrero swinging for the fences at Dodger Stadium. During 15 fun-filled MLB seasons, Guerrero hit .300 with 215 homers, while driving in 898 runs. His best seasons were in 1982 and '83 with the Dodgers when he hit .304-32-100 with 22 stolen bases and .298-32-103 with 23 stolen bases. So much fun as every swing seemed to be for the fences.

We'll kick it off with the original Vladimir Guerrero hitting it out of the park on March 5th. If you didn't see the original play, you really missed something. Nobody had a longer, more vicious swing than Vlad, one of the best of his time.

NOW ONLY 26 DAYS UNTIL 2021 MLB OPENING DAY!!!

We'll kick off the day with one of the best pure hitters in MLB history. Wade Boggs finished his 18-year career with a .328 batting average and 3,010 hits in 2,439 games. He won five batting titles and he hit above .300 during each of his first 10 seasons and in 14 of his first 15 seasons. That's amazing. In 1987 he hit .363 with 24 homers, 89 RBIs and 108 runs. One of the best.

NOW ONLY 25 DAYS UNTIL 2021 MLB OPENING DAY!! Wow, the season is almost upon us.

Let's kick off the day with one of the most controversial yet talented players in MLB history. Barry Bonds was a Hall of Famer before the talk about performance enhancers entered the conversation with him, but that controversy is now keeping him out of the Hall of Fame. He finished with MLB records in Home Runs (762), Walks (2,558) and Intentional Walks (688), while hitting .298 with 2,935 hits. He won two batting titles (.370 in 2002), two home run titles (MLB record 73 in 2001) and one RBI title while also stealing 514 bases. He amassed some of the gaudiest numbers in MLB history.

But he's still not in the Hall of Fame.

NOW ONLY 24 DAYS UNTIL 2021 MLB OPENING DAY!!!

The greatest base stealer in MLB history would be a marvel in today's power game as he could single-handedly win a stolen base category for your fantasy team. He finished his 25-year career with 1,406 stolen bases as he led the league in SBs 12 times, including a seven year stretch from 1980-86. He had 100 or more stolen bases three times from 1980-83 and he also had a career OBP of .401 as he led the league in walks four times. But he also led the league in Runs five times and holds the MLB record with 2,295 Runs scored, while still hitting 297 homers. Amazing five-category player.

NOW ONLY 23 DAYS UNTIL 2021 MLB OPENING DAY!!!

Let's honor that milestone with one of the best second basemen in MLB history. Ryne Sandberg was a rare second baseman who could hit for average with power, speed and a solid glove. He was a fantasy first round pick for years and in 1990 he led the majors with 40 home runs and 116 Runs, while hitting .306 with 100 RBIs and 25 Stolen Bases. He finished his career with a .285 average, 282 homers and 344 stolen bases, while collecting 2,386 hits. He was one of the best.

NOW ONLY 22 DAYS UNTIL 2021 MLB OPENING DAY!

Let's kick it off with a modern MLB player who is a sure-fire Hall of Famer. The Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw has a lot of personal accomplishments, but he finally earned a World Series ring last year with the Dodgers and he's looking for a second ring this year. He's a three time Cy Young Award winner and he's led the NL in ERA five times, while posting a stellar 2.43 ERA through 13 seasons. He also has a 175-76 record with 2,526 strikeouts. Keep it going Clayton.

NOW ONLY 21 DAYS UNTIL 2021 MLB OPENING DAY!!!

Let's get pumped up for Opening Day three weeks from today by introducing Sammy Sosa, the man who hit 609 home runs but still isn't close to getting immortality in Cooperstown. Sammy finished with 2,408 hits, 609 homers, 234 stolen bases and a .273 average as he led the NL in homers twice and one of them wasn't the 1998 season when he hit 66 home runs. A lot to unravel here, but let's just enjoy Sammy!!

NOW ONLY 20 DAYS UNTIL 2021 MLB OPENING DAY!!

Let's celebrate the day with one of the best third basemen of all-time, Mike Schmidt. He was a 10-time Gold Glove winner, a 3-time MVP and a World Series MVP who finished with 548 home runs and 1,595 RBIs. He led the NL in home runs eight times and in RBIs four times, while leading the Phillies to the World Series title in 1980. What a year that was for Philadelphia. Salute Mike.

NOW ONLY 19 DAYS UNTIL 2021 MLB OPENING DAY!!

There's only one Number 19 in my book and that's Brewers' Hall of Famer Robin Yount. He was called up to the major leagues in 1974 at the age of 18 and developed into a two-time MVP who collected 3,142 hits with 251 homers and 271 stolen bases. He was an MVP shortstop and he won an MVP while converting to center field. If there was a Mr. Brewer, it would be Robin Yount.

That means you have only 17 more drafting days in the NFBC. Jump in now and draft that winning team today!!

We kick off the day with a photo of Todd Helton, who still isn't in the Hall of Fame despite winning a batting title, three Gold Glove Awards and four Silver Slugger awards. He finished his 17-year career with 2,519 hits, 369 home runs, 1,406 RBI and a .316 average. Is that worthy?

That means you have 16 days to draft that winning team in the NFBC. Have you done it yet or is today the day that happens?

We'll let Dwight Gooden throw out the first pitch today. He won Rookie of the Year in 1984 when he went 17-9 with a 2.60 ERA and an NL best 276 strikeouts in 218 innings. But he won the Cy Young Award the next year when he went 24-4 with a 1.53 ERA, 16 Complete Games and 268 strikeouts. This was at the age of 20. Amazing. Despite all his troubles, he still won two World Series rings with the Mets and Yankees.
