SOLD OUT: NFFC 4-Hour Cutline Champions 1

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Mon Nov 29, 2021 9:14 am

The NFBC Cutline Championship returns for its 7th season after a record-setting season in 2021. We finished with a record 1,960 teams last year as Bob Catsiroumpas won the 2021 NFBC Cutline Championship overall title and the $75,000 grand prize. This was Bob's second Cutline Championship overall title, quite a feat indeed. Great job Bob and now let's see if you or someone else can win the industry's only hybrid Best Ball Championship this year.

The Cutline Championship consists of 10-team leagues and 42 rounds with only two FAAB periods. We again have a $75,000 grand prize and additional overall prizes. We are again shooting for just under 2,000 teams this year and prizes are guaranteed on that total.

NEW THIS YEAR: We have raised the entry fee to $175 per team from $150 this year, but are moving all of that additional money to league prizes. First place in each league is now $350 (up from $250) and second place earns $150.

Scoring is Best Ball using a points-style scoring system that mirrors our 5x5 Roto categories. The computer picks your optimal scoring lineup from Monday through Sunday and totals your points through the All-Star Break. The team in each league with the most points at the All-Star Break earns $350 and the top two teams from each league advance to the Championship Round. The third, fourth and fifth place teams advance to the Wild Card Tier with a chance to still win the $75,000 grand prize.

We will have nightly Cutline Best Ball drafts starting in January and timed drafts starting now. We'll offer drafts at 1 hour per pick, 2 hours per pick and 4 hours per pick. These can get done in 6-14 days depending on the 10 owners in each league. Drafts will pause between 2 am ET and 8 am ET, but owners can still make picks during the pause. Drafts will also start 30 minutes after the league fills with draft spots being announced immediately after the league fills. Any draft that fills after 10 pm ET will officially start at 8 am ET, but again owners can make picks during the pause if they'd like.
