Live Event Charges Will Be Run On Monday, March 14

Post by Tom Kessenich » Tue Feb 01, 2022 10:27 am

A reminder that all live event contest charges will be run on Feb. 15. Here is how the process will work:

1. If you have money on account that will be used for your payment.

2. If you signed up for a delayed credit card payment the card you have on file will be used. If you want to change your CC information go to your Account, select View My Transactions and then select Summary. That takes you to the page where you can add and delete your CC information.

NOTE: If you want to pay by check instead of using a card you must send the check to us no later than Feb. 11 so the money can be put on your account. Please include a note saying what the payment is for.

3. If you signed up by check and now want to pay by card, select Make a Payment on your account and enter the amount you owe on a card. The amount owed is listed on your My Teams page. If you're not sure of your method of payment please contact me at [email protected].

4. We ask that all contests with a $2,500 entry fee or more pay by check. Here is the check info:

Make the check out to SportsHub and send to
Darik Buchar
16563 Kentucky Avenue
Lakeville, MN 55044

I think we will hold off on running these charges for live events on Tuesday based on the current CBA negotiations between the owners and players.

I'll have an update on the charges this week after we meet as a group, but we recognize the current situation and need to see what the players and owners do over the next week or two. We are locked into our hotel contracts for the dates that we have in Las Vegas, New York City and Chicago, but we understand that we need a sport on the field to fill full leagues. Hopefully that will be the case by early March.

But running these charges now doesn't really help anyone. Look for an update soon, but don't expect charges on Tuesday. Thanks all and light a candle for the negotiations going forward.

Now that this 99-day nightmare of an MLB lockout is over with, it's time to pay the bills!! We held off on charging any delayed entries until we had more certainty about the season, but now that we know that Opening Day is April 7th it's time to charge credit cards for these early signups.

We are going to process all of those delayed payments on Monday, March 14th. If you need to change your credit card or update your credit card number, you can do so on the site. Otherwise, here's how the payment process will work:

1. If you have money on account that will be used for your payment.

2. If you signed up for a delayed credit card payment the card you have on file will be used. If you want to change your CC information go to your Account, select View My Transactions and then select Summary. That takes you to the page where you can add and delete your CC information.
