Team Search

Post by DOUGHBOYS » Mon Aug 15, 2022 9:42 am

The NFBC has been so good at improvements in making it easier to manage teams that I haven't had a suggestion in months. :D
But here is one that would really be nice for those of us who own a lot of teams....

We already have the 'player search' feature for all our teams which is one of the best things possible. Just a great job.
My suggestion would be to put a 'team search' below the established 'player search'.
This would allow us to input teams and see if we need to quickly mess with early games or not in deciding our lineups.
For example, today DET and Cle have an early game.
If we input DET CLE in our team search, it would highlight the players who are in early games on all of our teams.
If on another day, CLE DET BOS and NYY have early games, we can input those four teams, etc.
It would also help in quickly highlighting players on teams who only have two games in a MON-THURS lineup.
I believe it would be really handy and a time saver.
Thanks for the listen!

Good one Dan. Couple more:

- figure out a way to show the double headers on the schedule / lineup grid (other than having to click on the '4DET' for example)
- denote players that are currently in the minors similar to injury designations, day to day designations, etc.

Also second Dan's comment about how well the site runs and is set up making it easy to manage teams. Well done!

IT is looking into these suggestions and they think they can figure it out. Possibly keeping the same Search bar but allowing you to search by MLB teams as well as searching by Players. We'll see what we can come up with.
