NFBC Message Boards

The NFBC Platinum league is our highest dollar private league we offer and usually it's filled with the same 14-15 owners who helped us build it. But this year we have an open spot as one of the very best in the NFBC has decided to take a year off from competing.

NFBC Hall of Famer KC Cha notified me last night that he plans on sitting out this year and will vacate his spots in the NFBC Platinum League, Diamond Auction League and Diamond League. We already have a backup for the Diamond Auction League and that one is now full with 15 owners, and we do have a couple of people hoping to get into the Diamond League, so again that one should fill.

We currently have 10 signed up for the NFBC Platinum League and I know of likely three more owners who will return, but Matthew Shepherd has also bowed out and has been replaced by 2022 NFBC Main Event champion Robert Cramutola. But we could have one or two open spots if anyone is interested.

Sign up online or let me know as we don't need any payment until mid February. Anyway, sorry to see KC Cha step aside this year, but hopefully he will be able to return in 2024. Until then, let's get ready for another tough battle in the high-end private leagues.

I am waiting to hear from one owner if they want the spot as they were the first alternate, but the Diamond League is definitely open to the next signup. Well, this isn't the surprise I expected or wanted three weeks away from Las Vegas, but here we are.

Joe Martens just dropped out of the NFBC Platinum League, so now we have 1 SPOT LEFT. It's pretty late in the game to find a new owner at $15,000 a team, but here we are. Honestly, this is the first year where we've had people dropping out of these high-dollar private leagues so late after committing early in the year. It's not cool and it could hurt everyone who planned for these leagues, but hopefully there's someone out there who would love to compete for this $120,000 league prize.
