The MTM NFBC VEGAS PARTY IS BACK for its 7th Illustrious Year at The Mirage, Friday, 3/24, 9:00 PM, PST!!

YES, IT'S BACK and destined to be better than ever in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the NFBC! The NFBC will be at the Mirage this year, and we have secured an entire restaurant this time around for this private party to be held at Portofino's Restaurant right off the casino floor for the best damn social event of the entire two weeks of NFBC live events, and it will as always be the place to be! Greg has once again stepped to the plate on our behalf, to reserve of this space along with an incredibly generous donation from last year's overall Main Event Champion, Bob Cramutola which may make this all at worst a very nominal fee for all to attend, which could in fact be as low as 100% FREE, but I'll let everyone know once all the catering, drinks, taxes, gratuities, doormen, prostitutes for Tom, etc. are figured in.

So the tradition will continue with my SEVENTH installment already out there in Sin City this time on Friday evening the 24th starting at 9:00 p.m. PST and going as late as everyone would like to go after the completion of all the live events of the day. So I am truly hoping that as many of my fellow fanatics and NFBC brethren will put this on their schedules to join me for a great evening of late night festivities now that we are hopefully free of world plagues, Antichrists, MLB lockouts, natural disasters, possible alien invasions, and the like for the foreseeable future. For all of you who attended last year at the suite in the Bellagio much to the chagrin of all the hotel guests on that floor , it goes without saying that a great time was had by all as always. Just being in Vegas with so many of us getting together who really don't get a chance to see each other very often, let alone ever meet in person in the first place, calls for a party worthy of the NFBC's 20th Anniversary and in the true MTM tradition of fun, food, drink, light to medium debauchery, and copious amounts of shit-talking and ball-busting.

There will plenty of room to spread out and mingle with seating for all to bullshit, trash-talk, take photos, get draft advice from me, etc. at your leisure until at least 2:00 a.m that evening with the famous MTM Midnight Madness Draft wrapping up the night's festivities. There will be music, beverages, cigars, and Darik will again have some draft results up on the big screens for all of us to debate about if possible. There will again be a full open bar like last year, and a delicious catered spread including desserts, so come both thirsty and hungry!

So send me no money...yet! I'll let everyone know shortly if there will be a cost for admission.

By this time next year, it will be all on me in celebration of my great victory and crowning as The People's Champion after I win my first overall Main Event title! [ANNUAL EDITOR'S NOTE: Mike said the same thing last year, and he didn't win jack shit.]

If you're planning on being in Vegas this year, and would like to be a part of the festivities, please post your name to this thread. I will then decide if you have my permission and are worthy enough to attend.

So let's get this rolling! The more the merrier as far as I'm concerned, and first come, first served, although the restaurant has the capacity to accomodate us all and all are welcome, including significant others if you would like to subject them to this type of torture. I'll be sending out some personal invites via texts and PM's, but let's get things started here.

The final numbers are in from The Mirage on the catering, beverages, bartender, servers, security, taxes, fees, and everything else imaginable they could rape me for, but thankfully due to Greg's contribution and the extraordinarily generous contribution by NFBC 2022 Overall Main Event Champion, Bob Cramutola, the damage will still be comparativley minimal and my ass should heal in time for the trip out.

So for the same price as last year at the Bellagio, we are getting A LOT more. It's a $100 a head for five plus hours of pretty much unlimited food, full open bar, in our own private reserved restaurant, with all the bells and whistles that come along with an epic MTM Vegas bash...in addition to it being the best social night of the year to be rivaled only by the premiere of the Vegas Crapshoot Event on the heels of this one, Saturday night! I need to have this all settled up and out of my space by Thursday 3/16 at the absolute latest, please. So, there's a lot of you coming. The easier you can make this on my the better and it would be much appreciated. Venmo is @michael-massotto or PayPal is [email protected]. No refunds after 3/21 as I get will get stuck with the charges. So if you're in, you're in barring any last minute emergencies. Just the way it has to be, so please get your payments to me sooner rather than later and looking forward to seeing everyone attending in less than a month now!
