Aloha all! The United Airlines NYC Half Marathon starts at 0700 on Sunday, Mar 19. There are 25,000 runners in this event. The weather conditions are expected to be real good for running and the elites are coming in record numbers to make an attempt at the world records….57:31 for men and 62:52 for women
The race course runs down 42nd Street through Times Square
I resisted the urge to try to chase down the Kenyans but plan on getting up early to watch. The chase for the record will be insane
Be aware the crowds and street closures may impact travel that morning

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
