Traded Player Lineup Lock
If a player has no scheduled game on Monday, but is traded to a team on Tuesday morning, and that new team already played a game on Monday... can the player be moved into/out of the active lineup on Tuesday before his new team's game lock time?

No. I believe we approve all trades after FAAB on Sunday for just this reason. We aren't approving all of the trades immediately that day; we do them at week's end.Brian Jenner wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2023 2:05 amIf a player has no scheduled game on Monday, but is traded to a team on Tuesday morning, and that new team already played a game on Monday... can the player be moved into/out of the active lineup on Tuesday before his new team's game lock time?

I mean real MLB trades. So for instance if Tommy Pham is traded to the Phillies late tonight or tomorrow morning, could he be swapped from reserves into the active lineup before the Tuesday night lineup lock? His new team will have already played a game on Monday.Greg Ambrosius wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2023 9:44 amNo. I believe we approve all trades after FAAB on Sunday for just this reason. Sorry for the delayed response Brian. I'm pretty sure once a player is locked in your lineup he's locked for the week.Brian Jenner wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2023 11:31 amI mean real MLB trades.
