To answer the question yes Johnny Walker was my partner.

Pretty solid offense , would have passed on Piazza for someone not hurt.Two monster closers , but pitching staff a little weak , could be low in K's.Santana might get sent down,cant pitch on the road. we will see

Real nice starting front 4 with decent chance to have 2 of the next 6 contribute nicely. Probably need another CL to get in the 9-12 pt range.



The O didnt jump out at me at first glance but there are some guys that are primed to produce in the 2nd half - salty/loney/bradley/ajones. But the thing is they HAVE to supplement the middle roaders like Beltre-Overbay-Kent and the no track record in the 2nd halfers like Rios and Pence.



Not sure when u drafted Smoltz and O.Perez but I think another big bat would have helped a little more instead.



But ya got Pence baby!

Q [/QUOTE]yeah Q, a little heavy on pitching at the expense of another bat, I got jumped on Braun, really wanted him ... but I think 6 very good OFers will emerge from this bunch, hopefully that and Jimmy will be enough to carry me. I passed on Pujols for Rollins in the 1st round, but LaRussa might agree with me since he didn't even start his own guy in the all-star game. Every consensus #1 stud gets to have 1 off year; 06 was A-Rod, this yr it's Albert. Didn't jump on the turnaround train with too many picks - a lot of guys did, will be interesting to see which strategy pays off.
