Phil Dussault Wins 2023 Platinum League & $120,000

Phil Dussault of Terrebonne, Quebec won the 2023 NFBC Platinum League and the $120,000 league prize during his first year in this league. Phil won the 2021 NFBC Main Event overall title in a historic season and then joined the NFBC Diamond League for the first time last year, winning that league title. Last year he stepped up to the Platinum League and won that private league title as well.

It's been one helluva three-year run for Dussault, who won this year's Platinum League, two more NFBC Main Event league titles and two $1,000 Draft Champions league titles. Congrats Phil on another great season in the NFBC.

Phil won the Platinum League title with 118 points, finishing 11 points ahead of Alan Mitchell. Phil passed Alan in Week 23 and held on over the last four weeks for his first Platinum League title. Alan won $60,000 for his runner-up finish. Greg Lathrop finished one-half point out of second place and earned $24,000 for his third place finish, while Doug Gruber finished fourth and earned $10,000.

Cost of entry for this league is $15,000.

This is the 9th year of the NFBC Platinum League and Phil is our 9th different Platinum League champion. The competition has always been tough for this private league and it just got tougher with Phil Dussault now entrenched in it.

This league will again be held in Las Vegas and Online in 2024 on Saturday, March 23rd at 4 pm PT/7 pm ET. This year's members have first dibs on spots through December 31st and then after that we'll open Registration to everyone else if there are any spots left.
