Jason Duponte Leads NFBC Post-Season Contest After Round 1

Jason Duponte of Natick, Massachusetts had a great NFBC regular season as he won the Ultimate Auction League, but he's trying to extend that success into the Post-Season Contest. After a wild Divisional Series in the AL and the NL, Jason Duponte leads a field of 471 teams in the NFBC Post-Season Contest.

Jason has a 1-point lead over Nickolaus Sackett through Round 1, while Chris Fessler, Kyle Estes and Drew Strohl round out the Top 5. Now is when it gets interesting, though, as points double for each player who advanced on your roster into Round 2 and those same players can earn 3 times their points if they are playing in the World Series. Owners can replace the players they lost in Round 1 with new players for the Conference Series, but those players start at 1x their points. It's important to pick up the right replacements now because those players could earn 2x their points in the World Series.

The NFBC Post-Season Contest will pay the Top 25 finishers. The ALCS starts on Sunday night, while the NLCS starts on Monday night. Lineups lock for each team just before their scheduled start times for Game 1.
