2024 NFBC Season Officially Launches On Monday

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Thu Nov 02, 2023 8:51 am

The end of the World Series means the end of the 2023 fantasy baseball season as well. Congrats to all of our winners in the NFBC Post-Season Contest and look for payments onto your Player Accounts on Friday. We will give Elias Sports Bureau one day for stat changes from the latest games and then finalize the stats.

The contest is officially final tomorrow, so look for prizes then. If nothing changes overnight, Ken Clark of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas will be declared the champion and the winner of the $20,000 grand prize. Great job Ken.

The NFBC site will officially turn over to 2024 on Monday and thus all contests will be available on Registration. We can always tweak the dates and times of the drafts, and even add some, but on Monday we will unveil the 2024 lineup card. The draft room has been open for almost a month now and we already have had a couple dozen drafts. You can still sign up and draft today and this weekend, but on Monday any new draft that starts will include the updated draft room with correct player eligibility listings.

That also means that NFBC Gladiator leagues will start on Monday. I have a feeling that a few of those will fill right away!!! We are again limiting that contest to a certain number of teams (up 300 teams and 20 leagues this year) and once they are done we will NOT have that contest available. Enjoy and thanks everyone.

Okay, if you want any data from your 2023 NFBC teams, please do screen shots or data grabs by Sunday night. The draft boards, auction boards, FAAB results, Transactions and more will disappear forever once we flip the site over. Only the draft and final standings will remain on your Historical Teams page from 2023. Please grab all the data you want now and take screenshots if needed. By Monday, it will be all gone.

Thanks all and we will see you on Monday when the 21st season of the NFBC officially launches. Should be another record-breaking year, so enjoy and good luck.
