Re: NFBC Champions League Debuts In 2024. Can You Be The Best?

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Fri Mar 08, 2024 9:13 am

We now have 188 PARTICIPANTS in the debut NFBC Champions League Qualifier Championship. Here's an even crazier statistic: More than 48 percent of unique players in the NFBC Main Event right now are competing in the CLQ this year!!! :D

That's FANTASTIC!!! We'll have more players grabbing their first Main Event teams over the next 2+ weeks, so I think the CLQ numbers will only rise. Can we get to 200 and beyond? We'll find out soon.

Great job everyone and good luck in this great new national championship!!!

We now have 193 participants in the debut NFBC Champions League Qualifier Championship. What a great success this has been already and it's possible that we could get to 200 teams. You can still fulfill your Draft Champions entry through the 2-Hour or 1-Hour time frames, or we have DC Express Leagues every night of the week through March 27th. There's still time to join, so come on in.

Remember, you are using three of your teams from the Main Event, Rotowire Online Championship and Draft Champions National Championship and competing against those fellow teams in 30 different categories. It's going to be wild and fun to watch your standings in 30 different categories and to see which categories you need to improve in to finish in the Top 15 overall.

Good luck everyone and jump in if you've already signed up for a Main Event team.

Okay, I got a look at the Champions League Qualifier Overall Standings today and I think this is going to be the best bargain of the season in the NFBC. For an extra $250, you will be looking at 30 new categories every day and trying to figure out which category of which team is preventing you from making the Top 15 in the CLQ Championship Round next year.

I mean, if we get 200 teams and we have 30 different stat categories, there will be 6,000 available points to earn. You'll start your day looking at your individual leagues for all three teams and the overall standings for all three teams, but then you'll go right to the CLQ standings where you'll have 30 more categories to look at. Do that for six months and about 180 days and you'll spend more time analyzing those three teams than you will be working at your work computer!!!

This format really is interesting in baseball because there are so many different stat categories and so many different ways you could move into or out of the Top 15 overall. Just one stinker category from one of your three CLQ teams could really hurt you in the overall standings. It should be a fun race and I promise you're going to get your money's worth from looking at all 30 categories each morning.

CLQ will have its own overall standings page and then there will be separate pulldowns for the CLQ Main, CLQ Rotowire OC and CLQ DC. You'll see each of the 10 stat categories for each contest and again each one will be ranked from 200 to 1 (or whatever the final number of teams is). Should be fun. If you haven't entered the CLQ, you should soon because this extra $250 is nothing compared to the fun you're going to have in this one.

Enjoy and good luck everyone. The total number of teams has already exceeded expectations and hopefully we can add a few more. Thanks all.

NOW 198 PARTICIPANTS IN THE DEBUT NFBC CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUALIFER CHAMPIONSHIP!!! Can we hit 200 teams? There's still time to get in, but you'll either have to use your Draft Champions league entry in a 1-Hour league (signups for that one end Tuesday) or enter in an Express DC league.

Awesome job everyone. Good luck and this debut contest has already been a huge success. Good luck.

NOW 200 UNIQUE OWNERS IN THE DEBUT NFBC CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUALIFIER CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Amazing. Just Amazing. This is going to be such a cool competition and the Champions Qualifier League Auction next year in Vegas is going to be LIT!! :D Just an unbelievable job everyone and when folks start to watch these standings during the season they are going to want to get into this competition in 2025. So good.

We can stop at 200 because it's a nice round figure or we can add to it!!! Toby, if you can post the prizes as of 200 teams right here that would be great. Thanks again and best of luck to everyone in this Qualifier.
